Fun game but not this set up Tried this out because of the price but quickly found out why it is so cheap. The original auger broke after about five minutes of play and luckily the sales associate had given me the replacement one from the manufacturer at purchase. I should have put the replacement in first. The biggest problem is the joints where the pole sections connect. There is way to much play in them making the pole wobble and move a lot. The kids played for a few days until I installed a permanent pole in concrete. Dick's was good about returning the set. All in all not very good September 23, 2014
Poor quality I purchased this and put it up in yard. The first hit the auger broke from the base. The weld on the bottom was very shoddy. I them had to go buy a metal post to put this up in my yard. Very disappointed given the price I paid for this tetherball set! September 16, 2014
Needed lots of extra support We had to screw the flimsy pole in several places to get it to work. September 10, 2014
it broke, first time it broke first time the kids used it, screw base snapped off in the ground and I had to dig it out. poorly made, would not recommend to anyone. September 3, 2014
Stake not long enough Two problems, first the screw in stake into the ground loosens after about 5 minutes of play and wobbles so badly we have to take it out of the ground and start a new hole. Secondly my 11 yr old daughter complains about the ball being so hard. I let some air out but it still hurts. August 27, 2014
Get a real one This is a cheap idea for a tether ball set. Product must be set in concrete or it very quickly falls down. Ball is very low quality and rope too long. August 26, 2014
Horrible Bought it for my younger kids and it broke 30mins after using it. Anchor system is a joke, thin metal only spot welded in two places. My husband had to weld it once then it broke at the base where he didn't weld. Do not buy! May 13, 2014
Not sturdy, broke right away. This tetherball set was not strong enough or sturdy enough to make it worthwhile. I purchased it for our school playground and drilled it into the grass. When a group of students came to play, it broke off of the auger within 5 minutes. May 8, 2014
Needs a little work Fun and easy to set up but after about 10 minutes The welds broke on the auger and the pole fell and about his my kid May 7, 2014
poor Purchased two sets and both broke off at ground stake. It was only tack welded. It needs to be welded completely around it May 1, 2014
