Rated 1 out of 5 by This product is awful and a waste of money. This product was a waste of money. We took it out of the box , set it up, and within 5 minutes of my husband and 9 year old daughter playing, it broke. The new and improved auger snapped right off. Do not purchase this item April 14, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Broke in less than 5 min at weld I should read the other reviews - Broke at weld within 5 minutes of mild use. Very disappointed, especially for the price paid April 13, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Fun game but not this set up Tried this out because of the price but quickly found out why it is so cheap. The original auger broke after about five minutes of play and luckily the sales associate had given me the replacement one from the manufacturer at purchase. I should have put the replacement in first. The biggest problem is the joints where the pole sections connect. There is way to much play in them making the pole wobble and move a lot. The kids played for a few days until I installed a permanent pole in concrete. Dick's was good about returning the set. All in all not very good September 23, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by great quality haven't set it up yet, but it looks like a quality product April 2, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Tetherball set ever!!! Strong and well made the kids beat this thing up and it stands up to the challenge! Forget video games, they are tetherball addicts!!! We love this set!!! June 30, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by It broke twice The first one we had broke at the base after playing with it for 10 minutes. We hoped it was a defect and exchanged it. The second one broke even faster in the exact same spot. It was a real disappointment we really look forward to playing with it. June 23, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Wobble wobble The auger does nothing to anchor this product into the ground. Be prepared to cement it down June 16, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by heavy duty poles I looked at 3 other stores for a tetherball, with no luck, this was the only one I could find. It was quite expensive so I was expecting it to be amazing, I was wrong. We have placed it in 4 different locations in the yard, each time it becomes lose and rocks back and forth. The rope for the ball is located in an odd place and will go flying off the pole when hit. I would have returned this if my kids had not already thrown the box into the campfire! June 3, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by DO NOT BUY If you have a welder and fell like spending a bunch of money buy it. Oh and don't forget the couple hours to prep, weld, grind, and paint. Poor poor quality May 5, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good not Great Tetherball Set I bought this to let my kids have some fun and learn how to play at home, so they could be more competitive at school. It is easy to install and use and play. My only complaint is the pole is wobbly even with it having a steel auger to go into the ground. I have even gone out after cutting the grass and put the pole down even farther and it still wobbles when the ball is thrown. The kids love it, though and it gets us out of the house doing something fun together. April 28, 2015
