I own 3 pairs & I use them for the job I do(meter reader) I highly recommend them for the winter.If walking in deep snow use gaiters to keep snow out of your boots.

First pair was stiff, 10.5 was too short, so I went with 11 wich was a little to wide, With some creative lacing they fit better. The vibram soles handled everthing I came across with no complaints. Warm and waterproof until... Two weeks of break-in time and then the uppers split. I returned them and had to buy another pair at a differnt store. yes, like them enough to give them a second try. The new pair, same size, fit much better and not as stiff.

Boot feels great. Took it home, laced it up, but the cloth eyelets snapped...and this was before I even used it. I was glad it happened before I broke them in, but was really disappointed because it really is a nice boot.

I have had these boots for a year now, I wear them in all seasons and through extreme cold and wet. I have never had these bad boys fail on me. Then again I take good care of my boots. I have walked the streets of NY City to hiking the mountains of Idaho. Mud, Snow, Rain, gravel, and ICE are no match for these wonderful boots. Thank you Merrell!!

Im a nyc sanitation worker.I use this product daily in all wheather.Problem one water leaks in when it rains.Problem two cheap quality the area around the laces ripped only had item less than 6 months.
