Iron Maple CR8 Ripken Series Maple Bat 3.4 5 20 20
it is a well balanced bat The bat feels solid when contact with the ball. Also is very well balanced allowing for a nice level swing. January 13, 2015
This bat can stand up to 85 MPH pitching and deliver We bought this bat while travelling during the summer to play in a Northern California 18 and under wooden bat league. The Ripken 33 inch held up well; I put a wrap on the handle from the beginning and had a great experience hitting to all fields. I used it during fall ball with the Zoots, played in three tournaments around the country and it is holding up fine. I wax the bat after each game, as I was told this helps on contact with the ball. It is my number one bat, and I have have wooden bats from every major producer and custom bats as well. It is odd that the least expensive bat I own, allows me to hit balls on a line drive 340 feet time after time. P. Griessel December 14, 2014
OK bat The handle is thinner, so my son prefers it. Weight is generally neutral as compared to the end-heavy Marucci. We have broken 2 of these. To be fair, both breaks occurred on mis-hit balls (a nasty change-up and a mis-read curve. As your would expect, maple is just not as break-resistant as ash. November 11, 2014
Great purchase I bought the bat for my son since he was constantly breaking Ash bats. The bats has great pop for the price. Would recommend this bat. Great price. October 28, 2014
One swing ... And broke! Great in store... First swing, hit... BROKE! Wished it didn't!!! October 28, 2014
Broke first game Lasted two at bats and broke at the handle. I understand it's natural for wood bats to break but it wasn't like the pitcher was Mo Rivera October 16, 2014
ok Bought the Bat played one game with it went 3 for 4 roped a double to gap but in last AB bat broke on a ball hit off the end of barrel, only good thing is the ball got through the middle and got 2 rbi's, this is in an adult baseball league. Wish i could find out Manufacture so i can see if there is a warranty as Dick's did not provide one September 23, 2014

Five cuts and out My 15 year old nearly hit the fence with first at bat. Second time up he hit off the end of the bat and the handle cracked. September 2, 2014
