Rated 5 out of 5 by Bought 2, then another 2 We have people that visit us in the Fort Myers area of Florida. We bought 2 in October, used them a couple times, and decided we liked them enough, and they were controllable enough, to purchase 2 more for our friends to use. They are light enough for one person to handle, track quite nicely (though my experience is pretty much nil with other kayaks), have quite a bit of storage room, and they look nice...which is important to my wife. A suggestion for newbies like us to the sport. If you plan on it being recreational, don't skimp on the paddles. We were told to hold our hand over our head, and the floor to the finger tip was the right length. We disagree. We are both about 5'10", and we purchased some lightweight, 240cm #almost 8'# paddles. What a difference!! We're really looking forward to exploring some of the fantastic kayaking opportunities in Fort Myers. November 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great little boat! I bought this kayak 3 weeks ago in Dicks for $199. I have gone out twice for 4 hours each time and found the boat to be very stable. It tracks slightly to the left, but no big deal to control. There is ample room for me (250lbs), with plenty of freeboard. I have added a gasket around the rear hatch, which made it watertight. Seat is very comfortable for extended period of time. I also cut in a cupholder (found one on line) in the dash. It gave me a place to place an open can or bottle. Would recommend this kayak to anyone who wants to get out on the water. April 22, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Boat I started Kayaking about 5 years ago regularly at a Rental place near home. River runs for about 6 miles. I bought this boat because cost/return. No other reason. I am SHOCKED. I was used to 8' "rentals" that tracked left or right and were a constant fight and never knew any better. This boat moves like silk. I have had it now for 2 weeks. I bought one and licensed it that day and went out. I bought 2 more the next day. I have been on 2 lakes near home, and taken a 9 mile river ride with the liveries down because the river is too high for them. Not one problem on the rapids #3' to 4' largest#, and not one problem on the lakes in or out of a stiff wind. In 2 weeks I have been out 9 times. I have even fished with it. That takes a little thought, but can be pulled off easily with light tackle. This adds so much to my now limited exercise routine from a Cervical Spinal surgery #C-4 through C-7 fusion#. Very easy on my now degenerating lower back as well. This is my first purchased boat, and I see no reason to spend more. This Kayak is well worth the money. May 30, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Researched it. Bought it .....kayaking the Intra Coastal out of South Carolina, very maneuverable, lightweight, tracks well for a shorter kayak. comfortable seating, ( I have a lower back injury), I am very happy over all with this purchase. Have seen and used kayaks that cost twice as much and perform half as well. September 21, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product for a beginner! I wanted to have fun, in the water, this summer but I had a budget. I'm aware that you get what you pay for which could have pro's and con's. The pro's for me...the kayak was on sale for $170 and I was able to purchase online and pick up in store. I don't have to rely on someone helping me to lift the kayak. (Weight was important to me because of my bad back) It tracks well in the water and is extremely stable. I've taken it to a lake and two rivers, one of which had some rapids. I felt very comfortable in the seat and I knew that if I tipped over I could free myself quickly because the opening is long. The storage hatch is not that big. And the lid to the hatch can still allow water to enter. Some kayaks have storage behind the seat. This kayak only has storage between the feet. (I would recommend purchasing a dry bag to keep by your feet.) There are bungee cords on deck which offer additional storage options. Foot pegs are easy to adjust even when your in the kayak. For the price, I don't have any con's. If I start kayaking on a regular basis I'll upgrade but for now this is perfect for my needs! July 20, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very Nice Love it! Tracks straight, lively due to light weight and fast. Good storage.Great buy. April 13, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great times! Just got 2 of these for me and the girlfriend..We're both fairly new to kayaking ( have rented a couple in the past) and took them right out on a big pond on a very windy day. We were able to paddle into the wind which was creating a fairly strong current and had no problem! Very stable I rocked mine to see if it would tip over, its very stable! Today were taking them out on a slow moving river with some friends who have kayaks. For the price were extreamly happy! Also there very comfortable tack well and are easy to controll. April 12, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Surprised, a good buy Had been looking for an entry level kayaks (inexpensive) and found these, I bought two on the spot. Have already used them several times and here is what I found. First, my 13 old daughter and I can load them on top of my car and unload no problem and walking them from parking to the water, we carry both at one time, they have handles at each end. I'm 6'1", daughter 5'3", 190/110 lbs and found plenty of adjustment to suit each. Both the foot rests and seat backs are adjustable and do a decent job, I have been in kayaks with better back support, but for a couple of hours found the ones supplied suitable. Storage and storage compartment are, well let's just say, usable. You can strap stuff to the deck and it gets wet or you can put it in the compartment with the lid and it ends up in a pool of water. The design just drains water into the compartment and holds it there. I put ice in mine and use it like a cooler for drinks, the lid keeps things in if you turn over. As far as tracking and stability go, for 10' they track OK and never had any stability concerns. The tide runs at a decent pace where we do most of our kayak, the Port Royal sound area, and with some effort against it, with it or across it, we have paddled with other kayakers who seemed to encounter all of the same issues as us. Like I said bought two on the spot when I seen them at Dick's sporting goods, both with paddles, also entry level, I have just about $500.00 invested and like the saying goes I already have a bunch of memories that are priceless.
