Rated 4 out of 5áby Peter12346 Light weight and decent for the money. This kayak does the trick if you want cheap and kayak on calm waters -- lakes, ponds, etc. The rubber, seat portion (that your but sits on) ripped off on two of them after only a few uses. However, you don't need that rubber seat portion anyway. It makes no difference in comfort. Moreover, the storage hatch thing is not water tight like some other ones I see on the market. But if you don't plan on using the storage hatch (which most people don't) then don't worry about it. The positive part about the kayak is it's cheap -- that is, one of the cheapest 10 foot kayaks I see around. Moreover, it's light, which makes it easier to transport. For my basic needs, it was fine. Rated 5 out of 5áby A&J Awesome!!!!! My husband and I each bought one. I am 4ft 11 and he is 6ft 4. We got the 10ft kayaks and they are perfect for each of us. They are so easy to use. Lots of room and very comfortable. Our local store was out but I made one phone call and Green Bay,Wi shipped them overnight to Appleton,Wi. The service was outstanding!!!!! Thank you!!!! Rated 5 out of 5áby CanadianKayaker Awesome Kayak! So I commented earlier post ( Finally Own A Kayak ) before we actually got to try our Kayaks.. And I was impressed then.. We picked up or ordered Kayaks TODAY.. That came in 2 weeks earlier than expected.. And we got right out in them today.. Went out into Lake St. Clair.. Just at the mouth of Detroit River.. And it was a little " choppy".. But the Kayaks handled great!! I'm so happy with these Kayaks!! If you are looking for a great Kayak / great value.. THIS IS THE ONE!! Happy Kayaking everyone! ?? Rated 4 out of 5áby W Mike Great to fantastic Kayak for the price This is a great looking kayak and does great on small fast moving streams like the Little Tennessee because it is so maneuverable. Going over rocks does not scratch the hull excessively.. But it is not a trekking kayak or a white water kayak. Each stroke moves the bow 4 - 5 inches to the side so it does not track well even though the bow and stern molding looks like it should. I guess you need at least 12' to get tracking. If you have to paddle long distances or up stream that is a problem, but if you are going with the flow it is great. A folded up towel makes the backrest even more comfortable. I ordered on line and picked in Arden, NC. The staff was super nice and helpful. This is a store where the people really want to help you. August 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5áby Brancan33 Love it Bought this Kayak in June to paddle around the lake. It handles really well, its fairly fast and it handles really well over some rougher water I wandered into. Its so easy to use that I've actually been towing friends around in a dingy behind it with absolute ease. Its easy to get in and out of even if I'm not graceful while doing it. I have a dodge journey and after a few creative attempts figured out how to get it into the car while still being able to see out the windows. It just fits!! Its just under 40 lbs so I have no problem carrying it around by myself. August 18, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5áby CanadianKayaker Finally A Kayak Owner!! I have been wanting a Kayak for 4 yrs, we have rented ( which adds up ) and with the FANTASTIC price of this Kayak ( which you won't find in Canada ) ... Hubby and I just ordered matching Blue ones!! I can't wait to get these and try them out!!!! We are beginner Kayakers, both in our 50's and this seems like the perfect Kayak for us. We had to go to the store to have a special Web order done ( when trying to order online at home it would not allow us to do the free ship to store - due to our IP address / home address being in Canada.) The staff at the Taylor, MI store are awesome and made to ordering process easy, thank you Dorothy for all your help on the phone! HAPPY KAYAKING!!! August 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5áby DasBaldGuy Best Kayak for the money...at any price! Bought 2 of these Kayaks after sitting just about everything Dicks had and the Trailblazer was the most comfortable! Took it immediately for a 6 hour creek tour, definitely made the right choice!! Boat tracks straight and is effortless to paddle...and so fast...our friends in the rental kayaks had to paddle twice as hard to keep up! The kayak is also quite stable and not prone to tipping...even leaning way over it doesn't feel like it's going to go over. The storage bin behind the cockpit is perfect for a personal size cooler full of cold ones...love this kayak and would highly recommend it to anyone...pro or beginner. August 12, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5áby medicare babe neat little kayak! bought this kayak at dicks after working online for weeks to find a good tracking river and lake boat. it tracks pretty well, veering only about 5-6inches from straight on a hard paddle. wish it tracked straight. good value for the price (200). plenty of room in the cockpit and easy to handle alone - am female 65 yrs and can lift it in and around the truck easily. recommend it. Rated 5 out of 5áby DR Pleasure Boat This kayak is priced right!! It is fun and light enough that one person can actually carry (load and unload). Which means more times on the water than in the storage. I also like that I have the option to customize it, instead of it coming with all the bells and whistles that I don't need. I hope Dick's (or other stores)would stock up on this Kayak. It took me a while to land one of this and had to drive 30 miles. August 5, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5áby CyanideKiss13 love it! I bought this kayak for my son. I tried it out before I let him have it. It was smooth and a breeze to paddle. Now I'm going to sell my sit upon and buy one of these. Very light and easy to transport. The only thing I wish it had was cleats or handles so I can lock it to the side of my shed. August 1, 2014
