Rated 5 out of 5 by Very stable, wish we bought two Bought this kayak (my first) in August 2014 and have taken it out about ten times. It's very stable and glides through the water very well. It doesn't track as well as the longer narrower (much more expensive# touring kayaks but I feel much steadier on the Trailblazer. We also purchased a Viper from Menard's at the same time and we both like this one better. The only issue I have with this kayak is the small storage #about the size of a lunch box) area but it's big enough for a few small things. October 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by SO glad we bought these! We bought two of these a few weeks ago and we have had such a great time exploring a large, local reservoir. While we're still trying to master getting *out* of them somewhat gracefully and dryly, they feel remarkably stable when we're on the water. These are our first kayaks, and our paddling skills are improving quickly. I ordered online for pick up in the store, and the staff was great! We're delighted to have found yet another way to enjoy nature photography by now being able to be out on the water. I wish we'd bought these years ago! :-) October 5, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Researched it. Bought it .....kayaking the Intra Coastal out of South Carolina, very maneuverable, lightweight, tracks well for a shorter kayak. comfortable seating, ( I have a lower back injury), I am very happy over all with this purchase. Have seen and used kayaks that cost twice as much and perform half as well. September 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Kayak I bought a Pelican Trailblazer and the Pelican Pathfinder, I must say the Trailblazer is a far better Kayak than the Pathfinder. I am so disappointed that I didn't buy 2 of the Trailerblazer, it handles so great. Just a better kayak for the price. September 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Happy with this purchase! This is my first kayak but a seasoned kayaker did help me with this purchase. This is a great kayak for me for the once a week I will be going. September 10, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Light weight and decent for the money. This kayak does the trick if you want cheap and kayak on calm waters -- lakes, ponds, etc. The rubber, seat portion (that your but sits on) ripped off on two of them after only a few uses. However, you don't need that rubber seat portion anyway. It makes no difference in comfort. Moreover, the storage hatch thing is not water tight like some other ones I see on the market. But if you don't plan on using the storage hatch (which most people don't) then don't worry about it. The positive part about the kayak is it's cheap -- that is, one of the cheapest 10 foot kayaks I see around. Moreover, it's light, which makes it easier to transport. For my basic needs, it was fine. Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome!!!!! My husband and I each bought one. I am 4ft 11 and he is 6ft 4. We got the 10ft kayaks and they are perfect for each of us. They are so easy to use. Lots of room and very comfortable. Our local store was out but I made one phone call and Green Bay,Wi shipped them overnight to Appleton,Wi. The service was outstanding!!!!! Thank you!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome Kayak! So I commented earlier post ( Finally Own A Kayak ) before we actually got to try our Kayaks.. And I was impressed then.. We picked up or ordered Kayaks TODAY.. That came in 2 weeks earlier than expected.. And we got right out in them today.. Went out into Lake St. Clair.. Just at the mouth of Detroit River.. And it was a little " choppy".. But the Kayaks handled great!! I'm so happy with these Kayaks!! If you are looking for a great Kayak / great value.. THIS IS THE ONE!! Happy Kayaking everyone! ?? August 23, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great to fantastic Kayak for the price This is a great looking kayak and does great on small fast moving streams like the Little Tennessee because it is so maneuverable. Going over rocks does not scratch the hull excessively.. But it is not a trekking kayak or a white water kayak. Each stroke moves the bow 4 - 5 inches to the side so it does not track well even though the bow and stern molding looks like it should. I guess you need at least 12' to get tracking. If you have to paddle long distances or up stream that is a problem, but if you are going with the flow it is great. A folded up towel makes the backrest even more comfortable. I ordered on line and picked in Arden, NC. The staff was super nice and helpful. This is a store where the people really want to help you. August 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love it Bought this Kayak in June to paddle around the lake. It handles really well, its fairly fast and it handles really well over some rougher water I wandered into. Its so easy to use that I've actually been towing friends around in a dingy behind it with absolute ease. Its easy to get in and out of even if I'm not graceful while doing it. I have a dodge journey and after a few creative attempts figured out how to get it into the car while still being able to see out the windows. It just fits!! Its just under 40 lbs so I have no problem carrying it around by myself. August 18, 2014
