Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 38 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by rod holders a must 2nd fishing best for money well balanced caught many fresh water and use for fluke as well don't forget vest July 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect size This 'yak is the perfect size for portability and transport. Light weight for easy portage and fits inside my Tahoe with the tailgate closed. Very stable platform and big cockpit opening for easy entry and exit. I'm 5'11" and 220 so those factors were very important. Add a 1.5 lb anchor and a forward rod holder makes it ideal. Rated 5 out of 5 by love this kayak I just bought 2 so my son (18yrs) and I (38yr) could do some fishing in those hard to get to places. We are first timers and were both very impressed with the stability and the easy of mobility.. We very quickly got the hang of it and were racing around the lake. The biggest question I had prior to purchase was the weight capacity, as I am 6'1" 275lbs.. And it handles like a dream.. We took them straight to a little 400acre lake and put them to the test.. Approx 5hrs on the water.. Light current, but the were several ski boats ripping the water up and still didn't even phase the kayak.in the last cpl hours the wind picked up and still no problems. I will actually be buying another soon for my wife.. Only draw back is the storage is not a dry storage like many of the other models have. Easy remedy, double up on zip lock bags.. We are planning on heading to the Grand River tomorrow so if things are different there then I'll make another post. Oh yeah great for fishing. I'm not the most flexible but I was able to use the rod holder in the back with no problem.. July 12, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Bought on a whim A friend asked me to join her on the water so I said what the heck and bought a kayak that day. Boy am I glad I did! It is light enough so that I am able to lift it up on top of a Jeep Wrangler by myself with a little juggling and shifting. Being a beginner I was a bit nervous about tipping, but this kayak is very sturdy. The storage compartment comes in very handy, even though it is not completely water proof (there is a warning about this though, so I knew what to expect). It is very comfortable, despite the fact that I cannot decide where I want the foot pegs to be! Haven't used any of the fishing features yet, but I cannot wait to try. Never been happier with an impulse purchase! July 12, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome Boat! Great for a beginner! I have never Kayaked before and wanted to try fishing out of one as well. Purchased this at a local dicks sale for 199.99. What a awesome deal! This thing is extremely stable and tracks very well. I had no trouble with it and was zipping around the lake in no time after only being in it for five minutes. I added a anchor cleat to the right side for my 3.5 lb anchor and it has helped with fishing. I have not caught any fish from it yet but I do not get bored. If the fishing is not going well just paddle around and have fun! July 12, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Lightweight, easy to carry! This kayak was reasonably priced & you get a lot for your money. July 11, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by overall I am not satisfied Foot support brackets and storage box clip broke on first use never had issue with my other kayaks...also the pioneer paddle cracked in half....this was a calm water outing!...I will be returning to store. July 11, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good fishing kayak Got this kayak just for fishing and added an additional front rod holder on it. Works perfectly for what it is intended. The only negative I found was it's lack of storage space. I cut out the rear storage compartment which gave me the whole back for gear. July 2, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great value only disappointed that product had blemishes. Since it was last one (& had to go to another store) I still took it July 2, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by You're buck$$ well spent and stretched far Super impressed with this kayak. The tracking ability and speed was easily obtained with little effort. As a matter of fact if you are not careful you can actually troll your rigging to fast. 3 hours of fishing/paddling and I was comfortable. I also felt comfortable in the means of feeling stable and safe from tipping. If this helps I'm about 6'00" tall and 205 lbs. One thing I highly recommend doing is bungee the carry handles to the elastic tie-downs. My fishing line got tangled around the handle and I thought I was going to break the line. Also as you are paddling the handles will thump the boat making a constant knocking sound. I'm hoping the manufacture will make built in handles in the future. But again look around you won't find a better boat for the money or even close to it. Also the customer service #at least in the Bend Ore. store# that Dick's has is awesome. Customer service still exist folks. June 29, 2014
