Rated 5 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Versatile Rod!!! I am an avid fisherman and have always preferred the reliability and feel of a one piece rod over rods with multiple sections. This summer I was going on vacation to Alaska and wanted a rod that was versatile and was also easy to travel with. Although I was skeptical of the three piece design, I bought this rod last minute before leaving, and I'm glad I did! The M/H setup had surprisingly good feel and helped me land salmon up to 25lbs. I used the M rod blank and the fast tip a couple weeks later for walleye and again was impressed with the sensitivity. I look forward on taking this rod to the Boundary Waters in the future. Not only is it compact for portaging but I will be able to switch out one of the sections if it happens to break out in the wilderness. September 19, 2014
