Rated 4 out of 5 by Rich H Nice Lightweight, portable paddle This is a perfectly serviceable paddle. It's lightweight. It's easy to use. It does it's job very well. My only complaint is that if it gets a little sand in it, it becomes very difficult to pull back apart and this also causes the paint to come off under the joint. This is partially cosmetic, so I'm not really worried. I've been able to get it apart every time so far, but sometimes it can take a few minutes. September 17, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Penfold It does the job We used this product the day that we bought it in a nearby lake. We recently used it in the Ohio river. September 17, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by nickname New to the whole kayak thing, does what it is supposed to do get me around on the lake. Nice product, good price, friendly helpful staff. Thanks! Been to the lake twice since the purchase and as stated above it does the job for me. I am not a white water guy, wife and I are in our sixties, just wanted to paddle around, maybe fish a little and it's quite fun plus a bit of a work out. September 16, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by scott light weight and durable I have only used it once so far but it seems reliable. I did manage to get a lot of water off of the paddle on and in the boat, but it might have been an error on my part. Other than that it works well and no problems. September 16, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by VaYaker Does what you'd expect! Adjustable length and twist provides plenty of options for getting comfortable with paddling. Breaks down into two pieces very easily for storage and transports. My only complaint is that if you drop it in the water, you have about 1 second to grab it before it goes to Davy Jones' Locker. You'd think the shaft would be sealed past the 5 centimeters of adjustment to create an air pocket to help it float and keep the water out... maybe that feature is included on the next best one! A squirt of expanding foam in the shaft certainly slows the sinking without adding any weight. September 16, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Alec Snapped in half Was kayaking on a lake. Nothing intense or anything, and it cracked in half right where the adjustable holes are. Should never happen, but I guess thats the compromise when its adjustable??? September 15, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Gray Great Basic Paddle I am very happy with this paddle. I fish with my 11' sit on top kayak and the extra length helps keep me dry and keeps my hands from scuffing the sides. It could be lighter and it has no padding for your hands. I wrapped it with bicycle handlebar tape where my hands grab on both sides. works great! For the price, this paddle is great.
