this product is flimsy
Worked great for its purpose but upon tearing down the leg bent on it very easily and not sure it is even good for a second use.

This EZ up is sturdy
After 3 EZ up tents breaking in 1 afternoon, we decided to try out the Commercial grade. The set up is easier and the feature of the ring pullout to adjust the height is one of the best features. In other brands of pop-ups you find a peg system. I can tell you based on 7 EZ up tents the pegs ALWAYS get stuck on at least me leg THEN they fall down. This makes the tent useless. You could use duck tape around the leg or a temporary dowel in the hole, but with one gust of wind or a slight bump by a person and there goes the tent.
This tent is heavy! It does not have tie-downs. As a rowing mom I have the athletes & parents set up and take down 3-4 tents each weekend for 3-4 months each spring.
The negative: POOR bag design. The zipper is only on one end. This makes it extreeday difficult to put the tent plus fabric top in the bag. The bag design fails to have a zipper lengthwise.
Do NOT follow the example of keeping the top attached when folding the tent up. This is a problem waiting to happen -- it will rip after the 2nd or 3rd use. You must remove the top before closing the tent. TRUST ME.

great value and durable
I'm an artist and I do tent shows up and down the East Coast, 8 months out of the year. I bought this tent in 2007 and we will probably have to replace it soon - that's 6 years of 10 to 20 shows a year. It goes up and stays up all weekend, with sidewalls and display panels hung from the roof supports. I bought my tent on sale for under $100 and bought the sidewalls separately. I use the 25 lb. disc weights that Dick's sells for camping and put 2 on each corner. My husband and I have been amazed at the durability of this canopy. I agree with the criticism of the bag. We had our neighbor sew big tabs with commercial grade velcro up the side and over the top of the bag. Made all the difference. We also added an additional center pole to make the top higher to keep the rain from pooling. I would prefer sidewalls that are individual and zip at the corners, but I've learned to live with the ones that fit this, and I can set up and take down this tent myself (I'm 5'4"). Very good value for the money.

Great Tent, Better Value
First of all I want to address a lot of the negative reviews. If you are buying a tent canopy, you have to know about the product you are buying. You can't put a canopy up when its windy, especially if you put up a wall and not anchor or weigh it down. Any Canopy will bend or break in that situation. The people giving these reviews would probably say the same thing about some of the high end canopies that cost over $1000.
So, if you know how you are going to anchor or weigh the canopy down and you know how to take car of it, this is one of the best canopies you can buy for the money. I am a mobile car detailer and I use this canopy 3-6 times a week. I set it up and break it down on my own and use weights to keep it from blowing into a car. If it is really windy, sandbags work great.
I really love the commercial grade materials used here. I have taken it down and put it up over 100 times and I have not had any issues what so ever. Again, know how you will weigh it down, take care of it and it will last longer than any of the other cheaper canopies. I am a firm believer in paying a little more for the thing that will last longer, this is it. Also, pay an extra $50 or so for good weights or use sandbags and this canopy will hold up for years. You will not be disappointed.
My one compliant is that the bag and canopy are a really tight fit and the bag ended up wearing away a small spot on the corner of the canopy. I leave it out of the bag at all times when going on a job. .

low cost, lightweight, bent in wind
I have 2 canopy covers if anyone has frames an need a replacement cover. We tailgated a football game with 2 of these and they blew over leaving us with a bunch of scrap metal, but nice canvas covers were intact. The product is light weight for a canopy which has it positives and negatives. Be sure you have it weighed or tighed down well or else you will suffer the same fate as we did. It's a nice tent overall and I recommend it as a low cost canopy. Also be aware that water pools on the top as the center pole is not high enough to keep the incline steep enough to continually drain water resulting in dumps of water as it accumulates.

going to get another one
Have had this canopy for 4 years camping, back yard bbq and baseball tournaments it got used a ton. goes up easy handles light wind and rain good. my bag held up good also. we left it up over night and a storm bent some of the poles only reason I have to get a new one is user error. they are not made to withstand heavy rain and strong winds.

Nice Tent!
I don't understand the negative comments on here, If you cannot secure the tent after it is up to keep it from blowing away, it is not the tent's fault. I bought this because the frame is a lot more sturdy than the $79 ones they advertise in the paper. I have used commercial grade tents in the past for marketing events and this frame is really close to that quality. The tent is also made by EZ Up (it is stamped on all of the frame parts) so if you really need replacement parts they should be able to help you out...

hard to keep all together
this product is hard to care for, we have had four now and the first three the canvas came apart, we wish we could of just replaced the canvas because now we have three frames and no canvas, and now the commercial grade one, the canvas was great and the frame bent and broke with a light wind,

Love the Canopy...Hate the Bag!
Great canopy....however the roller carrying bag zipper broke the very 1st time we used it. Used it at the beach. Wonderful to get in the shade. Very sturdy and I must say, compared to the other canopies on the beach, ours looked the best. A little taller, sturdier, beefier looking. Still a good buy just need to work on the bag!
