Rated 5 out of 5 by Boot dryer Boot dryer works exactly as stated. Make sure boots are put on as instructed and the low heat has dried the wettest boots over night even when I thought there was no way it could November 20, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Utterly worthless - avoid for better model or manufacturer Produced little to no heat. Boots remained damp after all-night use of device. Even more surprising, the unit produced a smell of rancid fish while plugged in. Unsatisfying waste of time and money. October 10, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Ok product Been using this boot dryer for about 3 weeks now and it does dry your boots but even on a brand new pair (why I bought this dryer) it does not remove the foot odor as described, but it does dry my boots in the time from when I get home till I leave for work the next morning. Recommended for sweaty feet like mine, just don't expect to get rid of your foot odor. October 8, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wet combat boots During relief efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, my winter weight combat boots became soaked through. I ran to the nearest Dicks and bought the MAXX DRY SD not really sure if it would work. Definitely not an immediate fix, patience is key. After 24hrs on the dryer, my boots were thoroughly dry. Now, I keep swapping boots. One pair drying, the other soaking in the slush. November 9, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by I like it. I like that it has a timer and heat/no heat features. October 31, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice and dry This dryer works as designed. It dries shoes in a slow gentle manner so that they do not shrink or cause the glue to breakdown. If you are looking for faster results, get the forced air model, I heard that works great as well. I use this for drying my wading boots but only after I have let them drip for a couple of hours so that I am not raining down on the heating elements. October 20, 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by worked for exactly a year i used it every day in the winter. i wear 8 inch tall Carolina logging boots, and they get wet from sweat and a bit of seepage from melting snow. The dryer worked well for a year... exactly. i got it from my girlfriend on christmas of 2010, and it stopped dec. 27 2011... it worked well for that year, boots were dry by 6:30 AM, and they went on at 10:00 PM, almost every night. i am considering giving it a second chance at only [$], or i am looking for a forced air model December 29, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Had one before . I love this one too . Easy to setup and doesn't make a sound and quickly dried my boots . Great buy works very well. For anyone that wants dry boots shoes for the next day . For anyone that wants a toasty warm boot for those cold mornings . I had one of these before . They are easy to put together . The price is right for around $ 30.00 . November 27, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Buy! Does the job. Down side is that it takes all night to get your boots dry! Very slow process! October 16, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by No fan I had a cheaper fan unit that died. But before it died it dried my boots pretty quickly. This dryer has a heating element and is supposed to cause convection to dry out your boots. Would be fine if you have unlimited time to dry them out but will not dry mine out when pluged in for more than 16 hours. I am now looking for a unit that works. This one never has never really worked. July 25, 2014
