Great feel.
I couldn't be happier with these boots! I've put them to the test in a pretty rough area while mushroom hunting. I have gone through mud, water, and heavy brush without any problems. I've also gone up and down muddy and loose terrains and the boots have given me great support and traction. These are by far the best fitting boots I've ever owned! Thankfully, I've not had any direct confrontations with any snakes, but I have seen snakes and the boots gave me a more confortable feeling as I walked around them. I would recommend these boots to anyone

Great Waterproof Snake Boots
I bought these boots in January 2013 to wear on a 8-day camping / Python hunting trip to the Everglades. Walked over 20 miles in the brush, mud and water with these boots and my feet stayed dry. Very comfortable boots and I felt much safer wearing them. I did run into one Rattlesnake and one Water Mocassin but did not feel the need to test them. Been bit once and can't afford to get bit a second time. They took two or three days to dry out afterwards and I sprayed them down with water repellant just to be on the safe side. Great boots and I highly recommend them.

Lightweight, comfortable, and dry
These boots are great right out of the box. The first day of hunting season wore them for sixteen hours straight, and no blisters or sore feet. Walked in water better part of the day and feet stayed dry. I researched the internet prior to purchasing and also checked out boots at various outdoor stores. I found these to be the best fit, most comfortable, warm, and well made boot in the price range. After using them all season they still look and fit great. No problem with the laces, just tuck them in the top and the stay tied.

this is the best snake boot ive ever owned.
we have a hunting club in ga.,and there are plenty of snakes there, these heavy duty boots are excellent for this area. I feel very secure when I walk thru the woods.

good product, but beware sizing
Sizing runs very big, like many other boots and some casual shoes. For example, I wear a 10.5 in most athletic shoes, but in these boots a 10 is more than big enough... I even debated getting a 9.5. You will want to wear extra-tall socks with them, or risk getting blisters up on your calf as I did the first time out.

product did the job
very comfortable. used them for land surveying work so i do a lot of walking in the summer heat of Florida through brush and mid thigh water. completely soaked them inside and out and wore them for 12 hours a days. they dry in about 2 days, still comfy and pliable. Water gets in about 12" deep so for most uses like hunting won't be an issue. Not disappointed and in my opinion worth the money. paid 109 clearance from 149. Dry feet rule!

Great protection and great fit. I recomend these snake boots for hunting or anyone going in the field.

Great boots!
My husband was a little skeptical about the comfort when he first saw the boots but he was very pleased when he tried them on. They were much lighter than anticipated and quite easy to move around in. He is very very happy with the boots!
