Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Set! Amazing Price.. Clubs are great and they have dropped in price by nearly half since the model first came out. Irons hit very well. Great forgiveness. My only comment so far is that my pitching wedge is taking some getting used to. My old wedge was just a simple Golf Master wedge and hits pretty awesome. This new Cobra wedge seems to draw left all the time but may just need a simple fitting to fix this problem. Overall great set. I definitely recommend them to any skilled player. June 15, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Irons worth more than the sticker price! Prior to buying these clubs I owned Callaway Steel Head iron, however due to a fender bender, I needed to replace them. I went to Dicks expecting to spend 600 for a good set of clubs, however the dicks employee told me to test out the Amp Cell irons I could not believe the consistency in which I hit the ball. I was at the time a 30 handicap golfer, with these irons and the purchase of the Callaway X-Hot Driver, I have cut my handicap in half. Each player should test any club they buy to ensure it is the club for them, but everyone should at least test these irons. Fantastic clubs! . June 5, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Cobra AMP CELL-S Irons The reason why you can hit these irons further is because they have a 2 degree tilted closed face which is more than the standard irons. I have a set of King Cobras and I hit these irons about 10-15 yards further than my old irons. I'm hitting my 8 iron between 155-160 yards. November 18, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great quality irons I was hitting Adams 3-5 hybrids (tight lies) and Pinemeadow's pw-6 hybrids prior to a trip to Michigan. I played a local club and rented clubs ( Titeist AP2's) I hit those accurately and far by my standards. Then I priced the AP2's and they are very pricey. So I tried several at the proshop and decided on the Amp Cell-S irons. I was very happy to hit them as far as the hybrids, but more accurately. They felt very solid and well balanced clubs. I hit the uniflex steel shafts and hit my 7 iron 150 yds which is 20 yards on average better than the Dunlop DDH II which are 20+ years old. I didn't want to go back 20+ years in technology, or spend over $1100 for irons. The are great irons for the price and I'm looking forward to my next round. September 2, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fixed Awful Slice I know, most would say that a slice has very little to do with the irons, but I think differently. For about a year and a half, I have been borrowing my buddies old Nike Sasquatch Sumo Irons. They have been great, and I thought I could hit them pretty well. They were the full cavity which could have been part of the reason why I was not hitting the ball even close to where I was aiming. I finally decided to start shopping for irons and I was down to these and the Nike VRS-X irons. I hit both in the simulator and something about the Cobra's, they just felt right. I decided to get them and took them to the range....never in my life have I ever hit my irons as far or ac accurately as I hit these, right out of the plastic! I was hitting my 8 irons 165 yards where i was lucky to get 145 out of my old 8. I would suggest these to anybody wanting a good, affordable set of irons. August 29, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by great value These irons are quite nice for the price. I enjoy the feel of these clubs. June 10, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good clubs Hitting about 20 yards further than my older Taylor made irons I bought 10 years ago good clubs for me fair price May 13, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good buy I had played with a set of Titleist DCI irons for years and it was time to upgrade. Went in the store and tried about 6 different makes and brands of irons. I hit these just as long as the $800 sets of irons. A great buy for the price. May 7, 2014
