Coleman Signature CPX 6 Millennia Camping Lantern 4.5 5 2 2
super bright Light is really strong I use it for fishing and got 2 rechargeable packs they last all night August 18, 2014
Coleman Signature CPX Millenia needs to rubbertone the lanternedges and base. Coleman has come a long way with this LED lantern. It provides so much good light in expansive dark areas. I like its lightweight, compact design. The rechargeable battery pack will give a decent performance for about 3 hours, then declines rapidly in performance after that. I usually carry the regular D cell batteries and its holder as back-up. I am a building engineer and use this to backlight my structural evaluation survey in crawlspaces under buildings. Even though it looks stylish, it is missing some rubber coating protection elements under the base, and some protection for the battery holder port at the bottom of this lantern design. The base already has gouges and scratches from only 3 surveys. The rechargeable battery pack is difficult to switch out whilst wearing gloves. I hope that Coleman continues industrial ruggedizing development on this CPX series product and perhaps enlargement of the fingertip notches to make battery changes easier. July 15, 2014
