Cedar Ridge Long Trail 20░ Sleeping Bag 4.2 5 13 13
Good product for the money We likely won't use the product until next summer, but for the price we payed, we are very pleased with what we have received. They appear to be sized correctly for our usage in kayak camping and look like they'll do the job for us. We were especially glad to find them on sale, as our anticipated usage is somewhat limited and we really didn't want to pay the higher price for down bags. December 4, 2014
Pretty good at 30 degrees After a bad experience camping during an unexpected cold front, I immediately set out to find a sleeping bag to keep me warm during the colder months. I read the reviews to find this was a comfortable sleeping bag, one that kept several warm for those 30 deg nights but had zipper issues. Let me preface this by saying I get cold easily during the winter and hot during the summer. I don't have a happy medium. This bag kept me warm through the night but I started getting a little cold towards the end. I put the clothes I was going to wear the next day in my bag but they didn't stay warm but it was still better than being outside the bag. My head was cold but I tucked my head underneath the bag. I'm 6' tall so this was just long enough to do that. I did encounter the same issue as others with the zipper. It constantly got stuck. If this is something that bothers you choose another bag. This one was on sale and was a good value so I bought it. I would consider buying another one for the same value if on sale again. November 24, 2014
I was jealous of my boy's bags. The temperature only got down to 30, but my boys were very comfortable. The zippers were a little bit tricky for the 8 year old to figure out, but the 12-year-old did just fine. We will strongly consider the same brand when we buy our 0 degree sleeping bags. Nice, but... This bag appears to be well made, the zippers work well, and I expect it to be plenty warm. And the price was great. My only criticism is that it doesn't compress small enough to fit into my backpack. Great if you're camping from your car, but not for overnight hiking. November 11, 2014
Its warm but..... As the other reviews state......the zipper is jacked up. You have to be very carefull with the zipper and I would not recommend this for anyone over 6' tall. November 4, 2014
great bag except...... This is a great bag. It's temperature rating is accurate. A compression stuff sack is required to render it useable for backpacking but it's weight is acceptable/. For me, a drawback was the draft tube. It is made from the same supple fabric as the bag liner. This allows the zipper to readily 'snatch' the tube cover. Either more filler in the draft tube to make it tighter or a harder fabric like the bags outer cover would solve this issue. A stuck zipper in a dark tent on a cold night at 2 AM is a bad event. Nice and Warm I used it in wind free environment at about 38░ f in mid-Michigan and I had to unzip it because I was getting too warm. The zipper will catch in the fabric if you aren't careful. October 11, 2014
Great sleeping bag Used this for a fall king salom trip in north western NY, got down to around 30* & was in a tent, & I was toasty!! Deff recommend. September 21, 2014
very nice sleeping bag I used this item on a camping trip with my class and it held up great. I recommend this product for all uses. September 16, 2014
Going to be a 5 I purchased this 20 degree bag in preparation for winter camping so I have'nt used it (still warm weather here). I have looked it over and it is well constructed and lightweight for a 20 deg. I'm positive I will give it a 5 star when cold weather hits and I'm on the trail. September 7, 2014
