Rated 4.8 out of 5áby 4 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5áby Torque wrench not included? good ,sharp looking driver with a very nice feel but July 5, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5áby Just as advertised! My first preference was distance, accuracy was a close second, forgiveness was key since I'm an amateur with a 12 handicap. The Cleveland Custom 588 has all three for me without any adjustment (at square setting). I did have to adjust my stance since the first dozen swings had the balls hitting the club head toe but they still went straight or a very slight fade! Now after hitting a few buckets at the range, I've increased distance by 25 yds (260), accuracy is right down the middle and even a bad tee off hitting the toe, the ball still takes off right down the fairway! I might want to experiment with the adjustments once I'm more consistent with each shot but for now I'm very satisfied, especially with the sale price $150 compared to other top drivers costing $300- $400! Way to be Cleveland! July 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5áby Great club! This driver is what I wanted. Sets up with a neutral face, by this I mean the look at address is neutral not open or closed. The length of my drives are about the same or maybe five yards longer, but they are on the fairway - I will gladly give up yardage for being on the fairway! My driver before my new Cleveland was a Callaway X Hot - good driver but always looked closed at address and no matter what I did it went left. I have not played with the adjustments on the Cleveland yet. It is set at straight and that is where the ball goes! June 11, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5áby Love this Driver Initially hit the driver in the net at the local Dicks store. Hit 4 of 6 straight down the centerline, it felt very nice, good feedback at impact. 91 mph club head speed gave on average 238 carry and 245 total and STRAIGHT. Bought and figured sure it went straight at the store but what will happen at the course. Next day went to the range and hit it. Range had brand new TaylorMade yellow range balls. After going through the irons I brought out the Cleveland 588 Custom. Over swung the first drive and heeled it. Second went dead straight and long, second went dead straight and long. Put it away. Today went to the course and tee shot on the 1st hole went 240 and slightly pushed to the right but still on the cut stuff. Overall hit the driver 13 times and hit 12 fairways and averaged between 235 and one downwind that was hit dead center on the clubface that went 265. What a GREAT Driver. Everything about it is great; feedback, feel, looking at it setting behind the ball and if not over swung it finds where ever you aim it. April 24, 2014
