Rated 5 out of 5 by Great rod Bought the 6'10 MHXF. Very sensitive yet maintains its "stiffness" and has a great backbone. 10 guides makes it stellar for more accurate and further casts. Have not had any issues with quality and concerns regarding the tip. After having it and realizing how great it is, I went out and bought 2 more of the 6'10 MHXF. Its the perfect length for all situations: jigging, weightless, crank, etc. Highly recommend this rod and all field and stream rods. July 13, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Rod just snapped!! If you put too much pressure on this rod it will Snap!! Very disappointed. Wont buy another rod of this brand... July 12, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Strong, Sensitive, reasonable price! I bought this rod a month ago and caught more than 20. This rod is very well made. I also have Tec lite rod and these two rods became my favorite rods. They are much better than $200 rod. I would recommend to anyone who look for the best value rod. July 8, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Poooooorrrrr Held up for about a year then snapped while I was trying to get bait off a try. I wasn't horsing it either just snapped out of no where. June 16, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very nice rod for the money!! Bought this rod on Saturday, put a reel on it and went fishing. I saw some reviews were people said the top half of the rod broke off very easy. The first fish I caught on this rod was a monster 9lb bass and the rod handle it beautifully. Love this rod!!! May 17, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by ROD IS EXTREMELY PRONE TO SNAPPING The sensitivity of this rod is achieved by using lighter construction. I have read many reviews of the first 3 to 8 inches of this rob snapping off with minimal force. I thought that it was just people handling their rods too rough but then I got caught on a snag that my Ugly Stik or Abu Garcia Vengeance could have handled without issues. The first 4 inches of the rod - the part that is supposed to be the most flexible on any rod, snapped off with minimal force. I do not recommend this rod to anyone. For the price, you can get a Shimano Sellus, and Ugly Stik, or an Abu Garcia vengance - all of which are sold at Dick's. May 11, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Like these rods Have 8-10 of these rods in 7 foot and 71/2 feet in casting and spinning. Good rods for the money. February 23, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by best rod in its price range I bought this rod in 6'10" mhxf after holding it in the store. It's literally 99% perfect to ME at least. If I was to build a rod, it would be very similar to this. The only change I would make is moving the hook keeper to above the reel. It's currently on the split between the grips. The rod is extremely light. Very light, no joke. It's as sensitive as my veritas and around the same weight to me. This rod at $60 is an absolute steal. I use mine for jigs and decent size Texas rigs. You will not be disappointed in this rod. I have bought them all under $100 and this is right up there for me. I liked it better in hand than the elite models, and it looks more classy too. Love the carbon fiber and exposed reel seat. The cork is high quality. Can't say enough about this rod, in case you can't tell. October 22, 2015
