Customer Reviews:

Rated 2.5 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Solid Freestyle/Dirt Jump Bike Even for Adults I purchased my Hoffman about six months ago and I have already put it through the wringer. I ride skate parks, street, dirt, throw it in and out of the back of trucks, have the occasional wipe out, and though my bike is scratched EVERYWHERE it has never had a major malfunction and doesn't show signs of having one. The issues I have had are common to new bikes. The handle bars (a problem experienced by another reviewer) did not "fall off" or "fall down" but the cast stem did require some break in time before being really solid. This was solved by always having a multitool with me and tightening the stem bolts (don't worry, you won't break them) until the stem was broken in. The break pads are a poor compound so there is literally no bite when riding dirt. This was solved by new break pads. I also changed the lever because I prefer the Odyssey M2 two finger lever. I will likely change the pedals because they are a bit slick if your foot is even the least bit wet. However, the major parts of the bike are exceedingly well made and will give you no problems if maintained properly (for example, the chain is built like a TANK!). This is a well rounded and strong bike. To put that into perspective, I am a 32 year old 215lb man and I routinely take this off dirt jumps with occasional hard landings. The rims, forks, head tube, frame, handlebars, and cranks are all top notch and don't show a single sign I've even given them a run for their money. And on the point of my size, the long top tube on the frame makes this bike ideal for adults and larger teens (5.10-6 feet plus), although it is more difficult to manual because of this. July 6, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointed I've had the bike for barely three weeks. I had to return it the very next day because the handle bars fell after my little guy did a jump. The chain guard fell off a week later. Now the handle bars at the base of the bike are loose and I have to take it back yet again. I did ask when I purchased the bike it if was checked to make sure everything was tuned up and tight and ready to ride. I was assured that it was. That doesn't seem to be the case. But I don't know if it's the bike or poor assembly. April 13, 2014
