Rated 1 out of 5 by Grampa B. Not a Ball for Tennis!
I purchased them for tennis training with my Grandson. They have no bounce that is equivalent to a real tennis ball. I can see why everyone is throwing them to the dogs.

It all works great. I am using these balls for lacrosse purposes to train a new goalie.

Our Golden Retriever Puppy loves playing with his tennis balls. He thoroughly enjoys retrieving thrown balls and tearing the cover off the balls. When he's not retrieving or tearing the cover off, he buries them in the snow and then finds them during his next trip outside. Each trip outside he checks every location of the balls he has buried. The bag of Gamma Tennis Balls gives us a more economical supply of play balls for our Golden Boy Jacoby than is offered at the pet stores.

Rated 4 out of 5 by RedSonia29 My pitbull loves these balls!
These are my pitbull's favorite tennis balls. As a lover of fetch and catch, Clive has a hard time finding a good ball that can stand up to his heavy chewing. These balls are perfect. They are great for throwing (fetch) and tossing (catch), which lasts about 15 minutes, until he strips the yellow fur off the ball and chews a 1 inch diameter hole in the top (30 minutes). Then he runs around for 30-45 minutes and shows off his work to the cats and our other dog (who is much more gentle with balls). When the others are done saying "Yes, Clive. You ARE a talented boy" and subsequently blow him off, he gets emotionally sensitive and tears the poor little ball into pieces, which he promptly spits all over the sofa (apparently these balls don't taste good, which is fine with me). Overall, I'd say we get a good 2-3 hours of good pitbull play out of each ball. For a bag of 18 balls, that's 36-54 hours of play. At $18/bag, $0.33 - $.50/hour of play. Not as great a deal as the DuraChew, but it's a ball!Overall, I'd rate these balls a 4 out of 5 stars. I'd give 5 stars to the ball if it could be more like a Kong in the durability department, but still retain the all-important tennis ball features that Clive loves so much (lightweight, bouncy, chewy, fuzzy). On the other hand, Baxter the Irish Red and White Setter gives these balls 5 out of 5 stars. He has one in his mouth right now and his tail is wagging....

Rated 4 out of 5 by DavidinKS Good for throwing to the dogs
I use these tennis balls in my dog thrower as they are cheaper than the Chuck-it brandk and they tend to bounce farther. They last about 1-2-ish months of constant throwing to three Laborador Retrievers. When I buy a bag of balls it will usually last about 6-8 months and then I have to get another bag. So all in all, it is a good purchase.

Different from other Gamma practice ball I've purchased (which were also in the same bag), these balls are hard enough to bounce well. The practice balls were too soft and they tend to get ripped easily after a while, but these do not !
The deal was great, and I recommend these balls for any kind of practice !

I was thrilled to find this BAG of balls! There are 18 balls, so that's 6 cans I didn't have to open, 6 cans of waste I didn't have to throw away, and I get to keep the bag to carry them to the court in. SO handy. You need this :)

These tennis balls are the best to use for a dog thrower! They tend to last the longest with 3 Labs, I usually go through one bag of tennis balls about every 3-4 months.
