Field & Stream Insulated Bib M4 2X3X
Good, but not great
I have used these bibs 3 times since purchasing them this fall. Each use was for waterfowl hunting out of blinds. Two of the three days I hunted were very rainy. I was hopeful that they would keep me dry as their waterproof-ness was a big part of why I bought them. Unfortunately they have proven to be less than waterproof. On both times out in the rain my legs from mid-thigh down and my butt wound up pretty wet. I'm going to try and spray waterproofing on the bibs and see if that keeps them dry. On the plus side, the bibs are very comfortable and pretty warm overall. I've worn them with jeans underneath and they fit closely enough that the two garments (jeans and bibs) function as one. They go on and come off reasonably easily and the front zip and button fly are very nice and make it pretty easy to attend to any calls of nature without having to remove the bibs. I bought 3X, I'm 6' tall and about 280lbs. They allow for full range of motion and don't bind at all. If spraying the bibs with waterproofer works I would rate these a five star item. As they come out of the box I would only rate them three stars, again because of the questionable waterproofness of the bibs and because keeping you dry is a critical component of hunting clothes.
