Rated 1 out of 5 by Ben Aweful Zipper I have always been a fan of Coleman products because until this tent I had never had a bad one. However, this tent is a failure in several ways, with the most important being the zipper. The design is such that the poles put too much pressure on the door and pulls on the zipper. The zipper is cheap plastic and easily pulls apart. There is also no ability to open/close windows to increase or decrease air flow. Also, the tent is not as tall as other Coleman 8-person tents. You might could put 3 queen mattresses in it, but you would have to walk on them if you did. I recommend spending a little more money and buying a better made tent. March 9, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Ab31 Pole broke first time I used in it My kids were playing in it in the yard first time I set it up and a pole broke. Such a bummer March 1, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Kelvis poles splintered Nice size tent and went up fairly easily BUT.... Used tent for the first time on a moderately windy day, open field so no wind protection. While dissembling the tent the next day I noticed that two sections on two different tent poles had splintered. November 3, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Graleah Holds up to the rain! We were first time campers and got to our destination in the dark. Tent was so easy to set up and took no time at all. It rained all three nights and we stayed perfectly dry not one drop got in the tent. Can't wait to use it again! October 12, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Melmama3 Excited to Use This! I bought the tent on sale at the end of the season and the folks at Dicks store went out of their way to help me get the online sale price that was cheaper than in-store. I bought this tent for my 9-yr old's birthday sleepover. It's very spacious, well made and designed. I'm NOT a camper but having this lovely tent actually has me thinking about venturing outside the backyard ;) Set up was fairly easy (for a first-timer) and take down was really fast :) October 3, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by eb Perfect for our camping trip And it rained buckets...not one drop in the tent. Easy to set up. This 8-person is extremely roomy, with nice head-room. Love the color September 10, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Colorado Camper Great Tent We bought this tent to use on Labor day weekend. It was perfect. We put 2 queen mattresses and 2 double mattresses in it. The colors are bright and very styling. The setup instructions are a bit of a challenge to understand, but once you figure it out, it is not that hard. Take down is pretty easy, too. The storage bag is a bit too small and it is hard to fit the tent in it if you don't fold it tight. Overall, we actually like this tent. September 2, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by True camper Big and cozy Besides having more than ample space, this tent was super easy to set up. The poles are color coded which really helps. August 27, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by CHillen Great Tent be careful w/ the zipper Bought this tent for my family of four + dog. The tent is easy to set up, spacious and lots of venting. We did a trial run in the backyard (highly recommend) and it took us probably 30 mins. Once we knew what we were doing, it was simple (15 mins.). Spent 2 nights in the tent, no bugs, stable it was great. However...watch the zippers. They are plastic, and if you are not careful with them they will split. It was constant reminders to our 11 and 9 year old to be "easy on the zippers". For the price, not a bad tent at all. No idea what it it will be like in the rain, but I'm sure not bad. August 13, 2014
