Max flu u4 golf balls If your used to playing a high end ball like a pro v1 or any of the callaway SR line or Nike rzn black or platinum then you're gonna know the distance of the maxfli falls short. I was out driven by 30 yds when I usually get out driven by 10. The ball has great feel and spin around the greens so it plays well if you're looking for a soft/spin capable ball that will check. Just not enough distance October 15, 2014
I give these a C+ Tried these with great expectations and really kind of disappointed. Not as long as other balls I tried. Decent feel. I much prefer the Srixon ZstarXV or the Calloway SR2 & Hex Black I'm a 15 hndcap & avg drive distance 245yds October 1, 2014
A quality Urethane ball There are really only two types of balls on the market; urethane covers and everything else (typically called something like surlyn or some other funky name that is supposed to convey an adequate substitute for a soft durable cover, but isn't). I challenge anyone to line up a box of $48/dozen balls which shall not be named, and these Maxfli U/4's, and put on a blindfold (just kidding) and see if they can really tell a difference. These check up on greens, and play fades and draws just like the most expensive balls, but you won't be paying any pro's endorsement fee when you buy them. September 18, 2014
Maxfli U/4 are FANTASTIC! If you are an avid golfer who loves the feel and distance you get with Pro-V's but don't want to spend the money on Pro-V's, then you have to got to try the Maxfli U/4. I picked up the Maxfli U/4 on a buy-one-get-one. I chose the U/4 versus the U/6 due to a higher swing speed (U/6 stated "for slower swing speeds.) I played this past weekend and I am hooked! It feels so nice off the club face and my distance is incredible. I have searched for years for an affordable ball that plays like a Pro-V and this one is it. Spend the $35-$40 on a dozen and you'll be hooked. Promise! Stats: Mizuno MP Irons Callaway M-D Wedges Adams Hybrid Taylormade R11s Driver Odyssey Putter Swing Speed: 9--110 mph September 16, 2014
Great ball, Great price I've found the Maxfli line to be every bit as good as the name brand Top-Of-The-Line balls. I slightly prefer the U/6, due to its superior spin, but I hardly think my scores will balloon with the Maxfli U/4. I play to a 2 handicap, and find this ball feels great, spins great, and does everything I ask a premium ball to do. With the BOGO offer, it's a no-brainer. September 9, 2014
Longer than ProV1 I am a 10 hdcp player and has a 95-105 club head speed. I find this to be longer off the tee and irons than Pro V1. I played Callaway Hex Chrome two years ago, which was also longer for me than Pro V1, but tried U/4 last year. I have been playing these for the past 2 years. My hdcp dropped from 12 to 10 over the period. About 10-15 yard longer off the tee and 1/2 club longer on irons. I spin these more around the greens. It feels softer than Pro V1 off all my clubs. I played new Callaway SR balls but they did not feel as good; they may be as long as U/4 for me. I also tried Bridgestone 330 RX, which was slightly longer than Pro V1 but not as long as these. I don't care that these are "bargain" priced. For me, these are the best suited balls for my game. I used >6 dozens golf balls per year over 30 rounds, at this price, I can buy a new Scotty Cameron putter every year with the money saved compared to using Pro V1 or Bridgestone. September 5, 2014
Great Ball Used to be a solid ProV user. This ball is every bit as good and at $50.00 for two (2) dozen it can not compared. Ball compresses off the iron face with maximum spin and lands softly. Soft feel when putting. Long off tee. September 2, 2014
My new ball - replacing Lethal This is an excellent ball with distance and does very well on the greens. Ball lasted the whole round with a small scuff mark. Maxfli U/4 is my new ball replacing the Taylormade Lethal. September 1, 2014
Awesome Golf Ball I have used these balls since they came out. When struck properly, they do as desired. Give these balls a try. August 26, 2014
Play well for average players I have played Maxfli balls for years. These seem to have more feel and don't seem "hard". The only problem is they still don't float. August 5, 2014
