Rated 5 out of 5 by Super comfortable seat Just got home from canoeing the Hillsboro River and the canoe seat performed flawlessly. I highly recommend it. November 28, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Works great My partner and I bought these to provide some back support on extended canoe trips. They work great. They also provide some extra cushioning for the bottom. Now I won't take my canoe on the water without one. Also doubles as a camp chair. August 31, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not for me Tried to use in my canoe as a seat with back support top bar made it really uncomfortable August 25, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not right for my kayak I have an inflatable kayak and have never been a fan of the inflatable seat. I bought this because it looked like it would work....but didn't. There is not enough cushion/padding on the seat to sit on and keep the back supported. I had to use rope to configure holding the back in place so that I could use the seat for some support to paddle. That being said....I think the product is well made. It dried quick and I did get back support once I did my rope thing. The bottom cushion does have two large/wide very firm holding velcro straps. If you have a wood/composite canoe seat, I could see this strapping down well and working as desired. July 30, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Purchased for a boundary waters trip, exactly what I was looking for. Doubled as a camp chair while not canoeing. July 20, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Back Saver Have not had it out on the canoe yet, but fits up great! You must know the width of your canoe before you order this. I read all the reviews at canoe blogs and this is what most preferred. Can't wait to get on the water this week. July 15, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love! These seats are awesome and comfortable. They support the lower back and recline when it is time to wet a line! So glad I purchased them! July 13, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great fit for older canoe Old canoe had torn cane seat and this made an easy and comfortable repair. July 4, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Started off good, but... Purchased one in store and ordered the other. Used this for a multi-day canoe trip. I'm 6'3" 180 pounds, like back support from all that sitting. the first 5-10 minutes it's great, but the adjusting strap begins to stretch out and if you actually lean into the seat back, it slowly and surely keeps going further back until it's reclined itself flat. The adjusting strap is a single long strap running from the front of one side of the seat, up and around the back of the seat and down to the front of the other side. This makes for a very long strap of nylon and it just seems to stretch out and you will use up all of your adjustment with it still ultimately falling back flat. For short periods of time it's a nice passive back support system but I found myself frequently folding it down flat and sitting on top of it. The cushion that you sit on is decent and the overall feel of the product is good, but it would be better if they used two shorter straps on each side vs one long strap looped around, it just has too much play. Mounting to the canoe seat was easy and the buckles snap solid and retention there was pretty good, and it has a decent carry handle and not overly heavy. For the price I guess it's an okay purchase but I was really excited to be getting something solid and that didn't turn out. May 26, 2015
