Rated 4 out of 5 by 30 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent device and user friendly I use this with the garmin connect and the MyFitnessPal apps. It shares between the apps flawlessly. Tracks my steps, running and synchs fabulously with my Bike's garmin edge. Everything is setup very intuitively. Best of all it keeps me active and I'm eating better and loosing wieght. Nice design, well done :-) October 10, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very competitive I was looking for a pedometer that wouldn't slip off my waistband and crash to the ground and break. I was relieved to find a wide variety of wrist band styles. I particularly like that this one does not have to be charged regularly and has a battery that is expected to last a year. I also like that it can double as a watch. I started with the basic model but soon decided to also get the heart rate strap because of how it automatically records activities with the HR strap. It would have been less expensive to get it as a bundle that way in the first place. The extra features available on the Garmin Connect web page are great and help with staying motivated and setting goals. The charts, graphs and data far exceed the average pedometer. June 6, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Love Love Love I absolutely love this product. I shopped for a fitness tracker pretty thoroughly before deciding this was the one. I love that I can track activities other than running and walking and see how many calories I've burned. Having s device display was impotent to me. It has really helped me push myself during workouts. The app is pretty user friendly, and I anticipate the website to be become more so. The only reason for the 4 rather than 5 star rating is that the clasp needs to be stronger. June 1, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Garmin Vivofit I absolutely LOVE my vivofit fitness band. It doesn't come with an instruction manual, but the website that you log all your data through has a link to the manual--easy access and easy to understand. I only had to refer to the manual to figure out 2 minor things, the rest is pretty self explanatory. There were no reviews when I bought mine, so I was a little hesitant to buy, but this product does everything it says it does. It gives me a daily step goal based on my activity levels and whether I reached the goal of the day before. It lets you know how many steps you've taken and how many are left to meet your daily goal, and it also translates this into miles traveled. I input my height and weight, and it accurately tracks the number of calories I burn based on my activity and basal metabolic rate. The heart rate monitor improves the accuracy of this count, but I only use the heart rate monitor when I'm running and doing Insanity. I've heard that some people have problems with chafing with the chest strap heart rate monitors, but I haven't experienced this. I don't even feel the chest strap when I'm working out. I love syncing my band with my computer to see how much I moved during my sleep, and to see how my heart rate moved through the 5 different zones, giving me my max heart rate and average heart rate. The website you use to review data is easy to navigate and provides any and all information you can think of. My interest in fitness and nutrition is borderline obsessive, and this device tells me everything I want to know AND pushes me to work out more to meet my step goal. The only downside is that I don' t know many other people who have them, so I haven't really had a chance to compete with friends (although I'm trying to convince all my friends and parents to buy one too), but there's still the option to compete with strangers on the website if you're into that. I hope this was helpful! I absolutely love my fitness band, it's definitely worth the $170! March 31, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not For me The Heart Rate monitor was very inconsistent. I had similar work outs and calories burned would vary tremendously. Pros- I liked the display synced with My fitness pal. Cons-Did not seem to measure steps or calories when doing Non-Running exercise. July 13, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Pedometer is terribly inaccurate Pedometer overestimates the steps when walking and underestimates them when running. It underestimates distances. I use mapmyrun which has gps and will track mileage (comparable to treadmill) but this is over a mile behind at the end of my workout. And when you walk you can count your steps at 10 and it'll log like 30. It's kind of ridiculous how inaccurate this is. I like the heart rate monitor, sleep monitor, and stuff like that but i really wish that the pedometer was accurate and also that it was compatible with my Droid. May 11, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Garmin Vivofit Love my vivofit. It is so easy to use and I like that it even tracks my sleep. I like that the display shows my steps and I don't have to rely on a blinking light to tell me where I'm at. The red line and dashes help keep me moving! November 10, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect tracker! I have had this tracker since May and LOVE it! I love having the immediate view of my step progress and calorie burn. It is so easy to use and I have had no issues with it at all. It syncs with both my computer and my app on my phone. Not having to charge it is a HUGE plus as well as being able to change the bands to go with my outfits if I feel the need. It has the look and feel of a watch so no bulky tracker to get in the way. Highly recommend the tracker and the wireless heart rate monitor that helps give a better idea of actual calories burned during workouts. September 28, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Product not what was expected Could not tell from description that to register heart rate you would need to wear a chest band. That should have been made clear I the description. Was disappointed. Returned the product. May 10, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by A little disappointed The monitor does everything I want it too but what really bothers me is how hard it is to fasten the bracelet. It takes me about 2 minutes every morning to put it on - it shouldn't have to be that hard. I would really like it if the display were lit. May 29, 2014
