Customer Reviews:

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Soccer Coach main use on Turf I purchased these 1 size larger than normal. They helped a lot, but they are still a little snug on the width of my foot. Due to that fact that I'm normally a size 12 and had to go with 13 that's why I put a little small in review. BUT the 13 in length were perfect. The bottom is well balanced the light color will darken when you use them on turf. The nike emblem is a brighter orange than it appears, but not to bad. The shoelaces should have came in straight black, the Nike letters seem like an odd patch hopefully it lasts the test of time. All in all a good cleat for a larger male, but still has a good feel of the ball. The slight padding it has on top helps if you get stepped on. So far I'm liking these cleats. I was scrimmaging with the team and did take a little getting use to from my previous set, but really good traction helped. November 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by So far...very good Played 2 games on turf and they felt very good. I felt accurate (both passing & shooting) in the shoes and they enabled me to be as quick as I'm ever going to get. Hopefully they maintain quality so I dont regret my positive feedback. At this point I do recommend. September 23, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by These are good I play on a turf field and have tried quite a few different turf cleats by nike and adidas. It seems that they all do certain things well, but haven't found one that does everything well. I guess the three main factors for me are touch, accuracy, and shot. Of course if they're not comfortable then they're out. I've settled on adidas mundial team as my go-to cleat. It's super comfortable, touch is impeccable, and accuracy in passes and shots is very good. My only complaint is shots could be harder. It's a trade-off of finesse vs. brute-force. But after three pair I was looking to try something else. It seems that turf shoes aren't getting the same quality options that hard ground cleats are, so most of the newer Adidas and Nike line-ups are the lower models for turf. I tried the new Nike Hypervenom Phelon TF but wasn't crazy about them. They're very light and thin, so the feel was decent, but they fit weird, as many reviewers noted. They're very narrow, so I ordered accordingly. I wear an 8 in dress shoes and can sometimes go as low as 7.5 in athletic shoes (I wear the mundial in 7.5). As recommended, I ordered an 8.5 in the Phelon, and while the width was good, the extra length was awkward and the shoes creased just below the toe. After a few errant passes (and funny looks) I decided to retire these.Next I tried the Bomba pro II and went with a 7.5. They're tight, but I'm learning that tighter is better in the beginning for leather cleats as they'll stretch a bit over time. The Pros and Finales have some round (conical) studs, and I like this design (I chose these over the Finales because they're made of leather and the finales just look too flimsy). The touch is... maybe not great, but very good. They feel light and shots and passes are accurate and hard. During one game I put on a pair of mundials for the second half to compare, and I was surprised how heavy they felt... I was definitely aware that they were on my feet. I think the Bombas were a good purchase and I've had no trouble scoring since I've been wearing them. They're keepers. July 21, 2014
