Rated 1 out of 5 by Chris Replaced Twice in 3 months very poor quality and design TL:DR - Poles are not designed properly and will fail. Bought two and had same issue. As the title states, I went through two of these in 3 months. The first one lasted two months before one of the carbon fiber poles snapped at a joint in the curve. I returned it thinking it was maybe it was a defective pole. The second one after a few weeks started sagging a little bit. Due to prior experience, I further inspected the poles to find that they were beginning to weaken and would eventually fail. They were already showing signs of stress where the metal cuts into the bare carbon fiber. Additionally on this one the soft sleeves where the poles slide through on the net had ripped. So it was returned after a few weeks. It would be my recommendation to not purchase this product until they fixed the pole issue. July 29, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Sam50 Great product I just bought this product and I love it. The assembly was difficult ( about a half hour assembly ) but that is the only down fall. It can withstand any golf shot. Absolutely recommend this product. October 25, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by miffedalot good value for users with common sense. I've had one of these nets for a year now. The poles must be inserted so they cover the diagonals (as per the instructions)..Attempt any other assembly method and you will rip the product apart. If for outdoor use, unless in a shelteted area, best not left up overnight. But disassemble carefully. If you use real golf balls and your drive misses the target sheet, your ball will fly through the side netting which offers no resistance to such forces. So practice with foam or plastic hollow balls and you will have no problems whatsoever. March 30, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Robby Poor manufactured product I purchased this product in store. Could not get back rod into position even with help. I returned the item and got another one. Same problem, could not get pin into back rod. It appeared that the target panel was restricting the net because the net was loose in back but panel top was tight. Returned the item. Will not consider such an practice net again March 28, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Bryan It's a good indoor net I searched for similar priced nets and the maxfli seemed like the best fit. I needed one that fit my finished basement and protected the walls and surroundings from any fly balls. I also wanted a corrall for soccer balls and a haven to play for the kids. I really like the product and chip easily into the backdrop. I felt the need to fortify the provided backdrop with duck tape to bolster the impact. It also quiets the strike. i am very satisfied with this product. I am usually very stringent on my purchases as well. It's a good buy... the other reviews are confusing and don't explain enough. I would certainly recommend. p.s I set this up myself easily. The directions are in the box and its just like a dome tent. -Just slide the poles throuth the shoots and push them through. Rated 4 out of 5 by Gelotri Does What it is Meant to do Initially I had considered taking the product back. It didn't have any instructions included. Looking for instructions on the web I read the other reviews here on it. I finally got the net/frame together and as it turns out it wasn't that difficult. The net does exactly what it is meant to do. It allows you to work on your swing. It doesn't completely remove the need for visiting a driving range because you still may want to gauge your distance once you fine-tune your swing. I hit every club in my bag, putting over 400 balls into it on the first day. No "leaks" meaning no balls escaped. The net held up just fine and most important to me, driver shots. It was a windy day and that allowed me to identify a couple other short-comings with the product. First, the target drape could use either some weighting or grommets to allow weighting. Secondly, the system could use some guy-lines to prevent the wind from blowing the system over. It is very lightweight. Staking it down with the included stakes is a must. For the money, it is a suitable training aide. It isn't anything fancy and doesn't include any of the other things like a tee mat or ball shagger. For your money, it will do what it is meant to do, stop balls. July 29, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by ap Horrible Can't use it! Poor instructions. Spent the last 30 minutes trying to put it together. Going to take it back. Worst purchase ever. June 19, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by golfer200788 TERRIBLE: READ THIS BEFORE YOU BUY!!!!! This is the WORST hitting net ever. I am the head pro at a golf club with a 97.2 MPH swing speed and the ball goes right through! I made 3 holes in my wall from penetrating the net and hitting the wall. I also think the price is R-E-D-I-C-U-L-O-U-S. $80?? Jeez! It is also a hassle to get up. I ordered this net for outside with my personal lessons. This can't fit in anyone's basement. Being a golf pro, I recommend the Callaway Tri-Ball Hitting Net for anyone. AWFUL purchase. March 31, 2014
