Rated 1 out of 5 by worst purchase ever This bag was used for one trip and returned back to the store. You would have thought we used this item 50 times the way it looked after one use. The bag ripped, it had our new luggage looking like old luggage because the inside of the bag shed, it had holes in the bag and no longer became waterproof since our travel involved heavy rain. Rated 1 out of 5 by Great cheap alternative proves to be a cheap alternative to rigid carriers I wanted t try and save hundreds of dollars by using this soft car-top carrier. Unfortunately, it flopped in the wind as I only had enough luggage to fill it half way, thus causing a constant and maddening cacophony of distraction. The interior, despite me constructing a rigid "floor" of oak faced plywood, showed cracking after just four hours on the road. Had it rained, my luggage would have been soaked (I have borrowed one of these years ago and that was the result). July 10, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Buyer Beware!!!!!!!!!! I purchased this product for my return trip from PA where I was visiting my family and this was the worst purchase I think I have made in my life. The trip was 1150 miles and teh product did not even make it 250 miles before falling apart. The zippers unzipped as I was driving, the material frayed leaving a large hole in it, and the waterproofing material fell off the inside of the bag getting it and water all over the stuff I was carrying in there. Luckily I didn't have too much in there. July 8, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Look for something else I live in AZ and after only one trip to Anaheim (aprox 5hr drive time) the bag is almost unusable. The waterproof coating is some type of rubber lining on the inside, and after the drive there, 30-40% of it flaked off all over the contents inside. On the return trip as I assembled it on the roof I noticed that several straps had begun to unravel, and one had almost torn in half. These things don't support any weight, they just hold your contents within the roof racks of your vehicle so I was surprised to see them in such rough shape. All things said, I don't expect too much from an inexpensive cargo bag.... It did serve its purpose of getting things there and back. However, I do expect to be able to use it more than once and it's too far gone to use again. I'll see what swiss will do to honor warranty, otherwise it's going back to store... I just bought it 2 weeks ago. June 22, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Didn't hold up. This was a great size for the money, but was only able to use it twice before it ripped. May 7, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Find another bag!!!! Left Friday on a five hour trip away from home the bag worked fine. I left it on the car for the weekend. It rained a little and got a little cold, mid 30s. Monday morning I packed it up, I broke one of the plastic clips pulling too hard, my fault. 2 hours into the return drive home I stop for gas. The 2 rear corners of the bag had holes in them I could fit my fist through. The interior plastic deteriorated thus weakening the bag. It also didn't keep the rain out but that was something I was going to overlook until the holes appeared. You get what you pay for! May 7, 2014
