Rated 1 out of 5 by Alan Broke the 2nd time I used it Loved it the first time I used it. The second time... right after the 1 year warranty expired... the plastic pivot piece that allows for the easy set up snapped. It is now completely unusable. August 19, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Tom Great quality Just went camping in redwoods with family tent is very good but we had two queen air mattresses and they barely fit no room for anything else have to crawl a crossed them to go to bed nor room for nothing else and there was only 3 people average size maybe smaller mattresses would work but couldn't even close the zipper on tent when inside or out of tent to tight so use smaller mattresses but overall good tent well manufactured August 4, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Christian Great Tent I like this tent very much, with the following disclaimer: I have only used it once to date and it did not rain so I cannot attest to its rain-worthiness. It seemed well put together and it was very easy to put up and take down, just take the time to read the directions first! It went up and came down quickly, as advertised. Everything I saw seemed like good quality material and construction. Since I've only had it a couple of weeks and used it once, I cannot attest to its durability over time. It is not a backpacking tent as it is too heavy for carrying all day with the extra fabric and poles integrated. It makes a nice fixed-site or long term tent, which is what I purchased it for. There is misunderstanding on tent spaciousness under other tent reviews, so let me clarify something so you understand the "5 Person" rating. The capacity of a tent is based on how many adult sleeping bags can lay on the ground with no overlap.Tent makers generally use the standard of 7 feet by 2 feet as the area a person needs to sleep. So in this case, the size of the tent is 7 feet by 10 feet, which mathematically provides for 5 people. Please notice that there is no space allotted for your gear in that equation. My son and I stayed in the tent and kept all our gear in the tent at night and we still had a lot of room. Depending on your camping habits - if you take a lot of gear with you or you just like to have lots of room - then you need to consider this a 2-4 person tent. If you are an old school or seasoned camper that only puts their body and a sleeping bag in the tent when you go to bed, well you probably aren't looking for my opinion on anything other than the construction and how it holds up in the rain.
