Customer Reviews:

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 30 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by 5 Stars for excellent value I'm the kind of golfer that winces when my $4 Pro V bounces off a cart path, which unfortunately was happening quite a bit. I'm currently a 14 hdcp and I've been as low as a 10. My game needed some work and I finally had some time to devote to getting more consistent. I couldn't justify spending the money on Pro V's with the state of my game but still needed a good ball to get through the tough stretch. I actually found a Gamer Tour while searching during another "some good, some bad" round, ended up finishing the day with it and thought it was a pretty good ball at the time without any other knowledge about it. Afterward I did some research and saw that the Gamer Tour was a 3 piece ball, had some nice reviews and the sale at Dick's cinched my decision to give them a try. The Gamer Tour provides very nice spin and holds the green nicely. Distance wise, with my Irons, I'm getting more with the Gamer than I do with the Pro V but to be fair, it feels just a bit harder off the club face. Driver is about the same. The ball flight seems to be higher than the Pro V and it putts well too. I'm glad to say after 2 weeks my number is finally headed in the right direction. One con that I noticed and others have pointed out is that I definitely shave a little off the cover on hard wedges and the ball was pretty beat up by the end of the round, in fact it was starting to look sad at the turn but I'm certainly not that precise a player that a couple scuffs on the ball would make a difference. It's definitely not a Pro V but if your game needs works or if the high price of the Pro V is an issue, the Gamer Tour gets the job done nicely. I'm saving the Pro V's for money matches and will use the Gamer Tour for casual rounds. August 24, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by What a Great Ball As a not so young golfer I am amazed what Top Flite came up with. I started out playing golf by hitting a Top Flite ball that sounded like you hit a rock, our day was made if you found a Balata ball in the water. The one thing good about the "rock balls" was if you miss hit it both your hands and arms felt it too. Then some of the other golfball manufacturers started making a softer ball that went farther than those rock balls and you had a little better control around the greens. I then bought some Top Flite D2 balls and wow I was in heaven, a decent ball for a decent price. Distance, control, and great around the greens it was great. Plus I did not get mad if I lost one, like some of my friends did. I purchased my new Gamer balls and I would hit a D2 and then a Gamer. Great 3 piece ball that felt like the other guys 3 piece ball but at a whole lot cheaper price. I am glad that Dick's bought Top Flite and is really catching up to the golfers needs of good golf balls at an affordable price. Great Product February 3, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Gamer Tour is Great Value Ball I typically play a tour level ball, ProV, Z Star, RXS, or Speed Regime, whatever has the best price or is on special at one of the big box online retailers. However, I picked these up for $20 a dozen during a Dick's special and they are the best ball for the money out there. They're not tour level, but they are not your typical Top-Rock, and they play way better than the second level balls sold by the big names like the Q-Star or NXT. For day in, day out practice rounds with the boys, they are more than sufficient and dropping one in a water hazard doesn't hurt my wallet. These are long, they spin enough around the green, and feel great off the putter face. Forget your Top-Flite bias and give them a try, you will be pleasantly surprised, I was. September 6, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great product. Great distance and very good spin. I have been trying several kinds of golf balls this year. I found the Top Flite Gamer a great golf ball for the price. It's long of the tee and holds the green fairly well. July 3, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by A Bargain Ball, But Not Cheap Quality I read in a national publication where this ball was given a "gold" rating. I have been playing with Titleist NXT balls and thought the price was enticing. I have found the Top Flites are good off the tee and with my irons. However, in cold weather I seem to feel they are quite hard. For the price, I would recommend these balls as good, everyday ones. Better than Noodle. Wilson and DT's. For tournament play, I will use Titleist. January 13, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Real good ball for the money The ball performs very well for the money. Good feel and spin around the greens good distance off the tee and decent durability. If you don't want to play $40+ for a "tour" ball this is a good option. November 26, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great ball for the price For a Urethane cover ball this is a great buy. Soft feal around the greens and great distance. October 17, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Golf Ball ... GREAT Price! I have recently played both the Top Flite Gamer and Top Flite Gamer Tour balls. Both balls are great and are really a bargain at the current prices. Both are great off the tee and will provide length off the tee to anyone's game. The Gamer Tour has more spin than the Gamer, but both perform well on the course. I normally play the B330 and ProV1, but was told by a friend to try out the Gamer because they are close in the performance of both these balls. My assessment after playing the Gamer and Gamer Tour for over 1-month, is both Gamers are longer off the tee than either B330 or ProV1. For spin, the Gamer isn't close to either B330/ProV1 or the Gamer Tour. The Gamer Tour doesn't spin as much as either the B330 or ProV1 but honestly, there is not much difference - and 100% not as much difference as over $3.00 a golf ball price difference would suggest. BUY! BUY! BUY! ... but let me get to Dick's first! August 26, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great performance for the price Very good spin on the greens. I hadn't used these in a while and was pleasently surprised. August 15, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good everyday ball I play to an 8. These balls offer good distance and feel with every club. Don't spin as hard as a ProV, but provide good short game control. August 11, 2014
