Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Early season must have Had now for two years and hunt 3 or 4 days a week September through February in tick and chigger infested Southern Maryland and not a single tick or chigger bite where I was covered. No bug spray at all. These work. Bought the socks, pants and top. Have the hood too but way to hot for early season wear. Summary says it defends against mosquitos. Don't bet on that. Mosquitos will land and probe until they either find an opening in the fabric weave or go for any bare skin they can find. It does discourage 90% + of them though and they move on. Really hot is the major negative. Adapt by walking into stand with Rynoskin socks, pants, and top on with hunting pants. Get to stand and put on top shirt and anything else. Stops you from getting sweated up and stinking on arrival. After 1 1/2 seasons of heavy use, the material started to "run" like stockings do and tear from stretching over my feet. I figured it was acceptable wear and tear and I got my $ out of them at that point. I did still wear them because I am cheap and did get chigger bites where the holes were which was motivation to crack open the wallet. When you come in off the stand, immediately strip and throw everything either in the wash or dryer on high heat for at least 15 minutes to kill all unwanted passengers. Also beware of hopping back in your vehicle without either wiping down seats or giving it a shot of Raid to kill the passengers that climbed off of you after the hunt. Been there, done that and don't plan on doing it again! September 7, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good stuff It is such a relief to go into the woods and not have to worry too much about ticks that carry Lyme Disease. These are comfortable even in warm weather, only adding a little bit of insulation. In a breeze, they don't do anything to keep you warm, which is actually good, it means they won't make you too hot in warm weather. The purpose is to prevent some kinds of insect bites, and it works. I think the design of the crotch and seat area could be a bit better, but wouldn't let that keep me from using these. November 4, 2015
