Rated 5 out of 5 by The Correct Club - Finally ! The TM -Mini is an excellent club . 14o regular flex -- was my choice . For too long the industry pushed the ridiculously large drivers with equally too long shafts . The Mini , at 260cc and 43" shaft -- is the perfect club for me . (53 yrs 6ft) . The best property of this club is the matched weight and shaft length for the recreational player . Straight down the middle 200+ yards --- that's my skill level and the Mini has added the towering straight drives that keep you on the fairways . I love this club! December 28, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great replacement for my 3 Wood Club hits it straighter than any of my 3 Woods. Average distance about 200 yards. August 27, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good '2 wood' or the club between the driver and 3 wood. Once I learn to hit with it I'm sure it is the club I was looking for, stronger than a 3 hybrid or wood and the driver. August 27, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great purchase I got this club to help me keep my drives in the fairway. It has done that. This club has already helped me improve my game by 5 or 6 strokes. April 15, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Replaced R11 Driver with Taylormade SLDR Mini Driver Works great for me ..staying in the fairway is more important to me than distance and in most instancesi this matches my driving distance with the R11 I used. Except the wild drives with the R11 typicall ended with a double or triple bogey. All thats gone now. Buying experience with Dicks was great. I saw a lower advertised price and went to the store and they were very gracious and refubded the difference no questions asked. February 21, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Lives Up to Expectations This was a gift for my husband, as he had previously had a Taylor Made Mini Driver, which our son took a liking to, and was given to him as a gift. From everything my husband has said, the Mini Driver is everything TaylorMade has advertised the driver to be, and then some. Consistently straight, easy to hit, and very forgiving when necessary. More importantly, he likes the fact he can hit this driver without the extra torque that can sometimes be placed on a golfer's back, with a longer shaft. In short, exceeds all expectations. Rated 4 out of 5 by This product has changed my game. I am 67 years old and can no longer hit the ball 250 plus yards. Also have a slice. Just played my first 18 holes with this club off the tee. Due to the light weight and smaller head I was able to keep the ball straight thus not losing yards with the slice. December 27, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great off the tee Got the 14 degree. Great off the tee on a tight course. Only sacrifice 20 yards versus my driver. Plays easily off the fairway. Replaced my 3 wood and don't feel like I'm missing anything. December 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great BIG head driver replacement Had trouble hitting my BIG headed driver so started to hit three wood, lost some distance but was in the fairway 100%. The new SLDR mini driver has given me the added yards and confidence off the tee. December 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by I can hit this from any where Had trouble with my R11 after brakeing the shaft could never get it right again a friend who is in the BIz let me try the Mini.Wow what control I can workit both ways and hit it from anywhere I still need a driver for thr longer holes. but the smaller head really helps. The distants is a good fit about 10 to 15 yrds past my 3 wood .A great fit for me.
