Very Uncomfortable Painful To Wear Boot This was my second pair of this brand and type of boot the first was a great boot that lasted a couple of years and served me well. I like the style of this boot and it appears to be well constructed with one huge design flaw. There is a support insert of some kind sewn inside at the back right where your ankle lives it is thick and sharp and not very flexible it hurts like crazy walking in these things. I never noticed it in my other boots but is there it seems to be thinner and more flexible in those and higher to cover your ankle this new one my ankle kinda rides on the insert causing the problem. I am hoping to be able to flex it out somehow to be able to salvage the boots the price seems a lot for a pair of boots that cause pain to walk in. I would recommend that you try them on and walk around the whole store to see if it is a problem for you. I did not notice it immediately as all boots need to break in but it hasn't got any better.
