Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 35 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best distance ever...Buyer Beware, test several different setups before buying this club. I first tested this club at a different store and out of the blocks I was landing drives at 270+ and rolling over 300+ yards. My swing speed is 102mph - 105mph with my driver. I would say unless your swing speed is above 98mph don't bother with this club, your risk to reward won't be very appealing. I normally hit the ball very high due to my swing, and I liked the idea of the lower center-of-gravity and lower ball flight. When I finally purchased it and tested it at the driving range I was so frustrated I almost took it back (I was told to tee the ball up higher than I normally do...the salesman told me half a ball above the top of the face) but after moving it back down to where I normally tee it I started having success. I was crushing drives during my first round landing it around 275 yards and rolling around 285. Regardless of roll the ball flight was a lot lower than I am used too so I ended up lofting up to 14 degrees and I started seeing my normal trajectory and started seeing the increase in distance. T One of the bigger positives is the movable weight technology which is a 20 gram slider on the bottom of the club that allows you to draw or fade your drives (if you hit the ball down the middle every time) otherwise I wound up using the slider as a fix-it mechanism depending on which way my drives were spinning. I also love the ability to change the loft of the club on the fly. This is huge here in the Pacific Northwest due to the number of large evergreen trees that usually line the fairways and usually make for narrow low trajectory drives a breeze. The ability to center the 20 gram weight is great because it allows you to center it and work a draw or fade at will. The biggest negative is that the sweet spot is very small on this club. It is not a forgiving driver and one you need to learn how to hit. However, the sweet spot is also one of the biggest positives because when you learn to hit it there is no better driver on the market today. My last driver was the R7 and that club I found to be very forgiving. All in all I am very glad I didn't return it and grinded at the range until I figured out how to hit this club. The reward for a higher swing speed is worth the extra range time I spent learning it. Sorry for the long review but I felt it was necessary to encompass my experience with this club, especially for the price ($400.00 + tax). June 3, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Loving it Unlike other reviews, this club did not add more distance to my drives. It did, however, keep them in the fairway. Loft adjusts so you can ride that breeze, or push through it when the need arises. I was able to adjust the slide to correct a prominent slice, and I love the results. I'd rather lose distance and be out of the woods with this driver. April 14, 2015

Rated 4 out of 5 by Definitely saw increased distance and accuracy! It was time for new driver as my old Taylormade burner had run it's course. After seeing an advertised price of $199 at local retailer, Dick's price matched it. The golf pro took the time and listened to what my issues were with old driver mishits and recommended a 9.5 stiff, with neutral and adjusted the weight to combat the fade at times. After playing with my stance, definitely hit this 5-10 yards longer. My old driver I could fly it 270-280 if hit correctly and get roll to 300. This driver, definitely went 290-300. Definitely saw the distance increase and was hitting it might straighter with not as much of a fade. Definitely happy with this club and hopefully can help me shorten the courses even more to take a few more stroked off my handicap. February 10, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by This is TaylorMade. I like white head and white is Taylormade. I bought 14 loft and stiff shft, little bit hard for me, but it is acceptable. I used RBZ2 it is longer ball than SLDR, but SLDR is very constant and stable. April 15, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great driver This club.was everything I was looking for. More distance and better accuracy April 14, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Black Friday best buy I went into Dick's last night and saw that the SLDR driver was on sale for $229 and change. after using my instant $25 off coupon I got in the mail and the $20 reward check for prior purchases I only paid $184 for the driver. Many of my friends have this same driver and paid $299 to $399 for it. I recommend that you test it out today as it is a fantastic driver for guys who slice your drives. It has an adjustable weight position as well as a loft adjustment, Cannot beat it as you can set it to how you hit your drives. November 28, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Straight Dives, Oh NO! Club felt great from the first swing in the store. The biggest issue I'm having is learning to aim where I want the ball to go and not trying to compensate for former bad habits. Given a couple of more rounds and I might give it 5 stars. April 14, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by This driver has a huge "sweet spot". I've had this club for about two weeks now. I was hoping to gain a little more distance and achieve better control with it. So far the control is there. Even my mis-hits have turned into playable drives now. I haven't used any of the adjustable features on it yet so the jury is still out on that. I'll try to tweak it as the season progresses. The only disappointment with this club is that it isn't any longer than the R5 that I was using. So, in a nut-shell, same distance with better control. I can live with that! April 15, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by bought as gift... ...asked my other half what he thought of it, he said "love it" after further questioning, I came to the conclusion that it's a very forgiving driver. January 13, 2015
