Customer Reviews:

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 17 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by The draw and Loft feature is great. The SLDR driver came with the adjustment draw set a little toward the draw end and the loft was set perfectly for my swing. I have played 4 rounds of golf so far but the factory settings have cured my fade and have gained approximately 20 more yards off the tee. My scores have dropped down to the low and mid 80's. You can't help but like this club with two features. April 23, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by i liked shopping at dick's sporting goods. I was not thrilled with the Taylor Made SLDR driver, however, I must admit I only used it once. I returned to the Dick's sporting goods store I purchased the Driver from and was helped the golf staff with professionalism and courtesy. I finally settled on a driver I liked and am very satisfied. Thanks Dick's sporting goods. April 21, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by This is TaylorMade. I like white head and white is Taylormade. I bought 14 loft and stiff shft, little bit hard for me, but it is acceptable. I used RBZ2 it is longer ball than SLDR, but SLDR is very constant and stable. April 15, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by This driver has a huge "sweet spot". I've had this club for about two weeks now. I was hoping to gain a little more distance and achieve better control with it. So far the control is there. Even my mis-hits have turned into playable drives now. I haven't used any of the adjustable features on it yet so the jury is still out on that. I'll try to tweak it as the season progresses. The only disappointment with this club is that it isn't any longer than the R5 that I was using. So, in a nut-shell, same distance with better control. I can live with that! April 15, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great driver This club.was everything I was looking for. More distance and better accuracy April 14, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Loving it Unlike other reviews, this club did not add more distance to my drives. It did, however, keep them in the fairway. Loft adjusts so you can ride that breeze, or push through it when the need arises. I was able to adjust the slide to correct a prominent slice, and I love the results. I'd rather lose distance and be out of the woods with this driver. April 14, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Straight Dives, Oh NO! Club felt great from the first swing in the store. The biggest issue I'm having is learning to aim where I want the ball to go and not trying to compensate for former bad habits. Given a couple of more rounds and I might give it 5 stars. April 14, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by This TaylorMade SLDR Driver was just what I thought it would be. The TaylorMade SLDR Driver has increased my distance at least ten to fifteen yards. The SLDR weight on the bottom has helped me to draw the ball. I now have good over spin on my drive which I attribute to the increased distance. That extra ten to fifteen yards off the tee has improved chances of reaching the greens in regulation. For a senior golfer, such as my seIf, regaining a few extra yards that I have lost with age makes a big difference. I will probably purchase another one for my set of clubs I keep up north. Great product. April 13, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great mix of distance, control, and forgiveness Replaced a TaylorMade 540-XD with the SLDR. I was very hesitant because I hit my 540 very well. I've always had a slight fade and hit about 230-250 yards. So I decided it was time to try one of these new Drivers with all the adjustments, here is what I have found: I got the 9.5-deg and can adjust plus 1.5 to minus 1.5 degrees of loft. Adjustment is very easy. I naturally hit the ball high, so 9.5-deg driver has always been my choice. With the SLDR 9.5-deg I was launching my drives just slightly lower than optimal. I adjusted the loft 1-tick higher so I'm hitting my new SLDR around 10-deg which is perfect. Took it to the range to tune it to my swing. I also moved the weight just one tick toward draw. This puts a very slight draw on my Drive, whereas my natural swing is a very slight fade. On the range I moved the weight 2 ticks (larger) draw and with my normal swing to try it out. Just as I expected, I was hooking the ball about 30-40 yards left. I couldn't believe how simple and effective it was. I moved the weight back to 1 tick towards draw and now I have very slight (approx 10 yard off center) draw. Exactly what I always wanted from my swing. I can finally play down the inside right side of fairway and watch the ball slightly draw back to center. Distance is similar to my 540 and hard to tell on the range, but certainly no worse. I expect that now having slight draw I should get 10-20 yards extra distance, will see once I get on the course again. April 12, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Taylormade...Enough said. This club is unreal My drives are long and straight. Increase in distance is 10%. Very satisfied with this purchase. To be able to adjust your shot is something you didn't know you needed until you swing this driver. Would suggest everyone buy one. April 8, 2015
