Rated 4 out of 5 by Great distance, straight hits Played 3 rounds with my 12 degree SLDRs driver which replaced my RBZ driver. So far, I am getting about 20-25 yards more total distance on this driver over my old one. I was getting on average about 245 from the RBZ, and I'm getting 260-270 yards from the SLDRs on average. My long so far is 295, which I had never hit before getting this driver. I find that my sidespin is much reduced with this driver as well. I have yet to see a wild slice which was way too common on my old one. I've dialed the sliding weight over to the draw side by 1 notch and my ball flight is pretty straight now. I tested this driver against the Callaway Big Bertha (10.5 set higher) Ping G25 (11 degree set), SLDR (12 degree set) and the Jetspeed (12) and the SLDRs won (on the monitors) in total distance, carry distance and overall dispersion. Rated 5 out of 5 by Very good low spin driver I actually got fitted for this driver. I went to Hotstix golf in AZ. Here's the deal. This is a low spin, high MOI driver. I was averaging 4500-5200 rpm spin on my old driver. That equals zero distance and ballooning shots. I'm not a long ball hitter by any stretch and with the old driver I was avg 215/220 carry/roll out 235/240. Switched to this driver...avg 2300 spin, 150 smash factor, between 13-15* launch...now carries 235/240 and rolls to 260/265. Mine is set at 10*, with the weight 3 out towards the toe (fade bias)- I draw/hook naturally. I'm back to hitting short irons into greens again. My dispersion ratio has shrunk, now if one goes astray, I know its me and not the club. Absolutely the best driver I have ever had. Go try one out! September 15, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Effortless I have found that the slider has slowed my swing down, without losing any distance. Actually I have gained distance. The weight feature is something I have not moved yet. Trying to keep it in the middle and developing my swing that way. Been playing golf for over 40 years, this club makes it effortless. Rated 3 out of 5 by Taylor Made SLDR S Class Driver Was expecting to gain some much desired extra yardage but found result was the same if only slightly better. December 5, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very Nice Driver This product is good at me. I could hit better with this driver. September 25, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome feel and great distance! I got a 14 degree driver and added 20 yards more than my big bertha which is 10.5degrees.It's an easy club to hit and when You connect it's so solid. Feels Great! September 24, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Product did not meet my expectations or the advertised benefits I see no difference in this product vs. my 6 year old Taylormade Burner . The sliding weight makes no difference in controlling a slice tendency and the sweet spot is smaller than my above mentioned driver. I feel like I just wasted money on this product that does not produce the advertised improvement in distance and direction. I wish I had made the purchase during the period of guaranteed refund. Rated 5 out of 5 by Solid club The driver is everything I expected. A very well balanced and solid club. September 23, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Long & straight--finally Over the last several years, I have consistently struggled (doesn't anyone who plays golf?) with driving the ball accurately. As a former tennis player, I have very fast hands through the hitting zone; my consistent miss is long & left. This SLDR lets me open the face a bit (I also lofted up from 10.5 to a 12.0 degrees) and swing freely through the ball. L-o-n-g, straight & happy! March 11, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by amazing One of if not the best driver I've ever hit. Easy yardage and good looks to boot. Total package September 17, 2014
