Rated 5 out of 5áby Great Very durable, comfortable and they aren't very heavy June 20, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5áby Get this discontinued model while you can Merrell has discontinued the Phaser Peak, its only hiker suitable for light to medium-duty backpacking in my opinion.. Their lighter, shorter Moab is great for day hikes but doesn't have the support when packing 30-40 lb on rough terrain. Fit and ruggedness are critical in my view and my current pair, which have logged ▒400 miles, are beginning to show wear at pressure points in the Vibram sole, but the uppers are still good and they're quite watertight. If you have wide feet that need a wider toe box, all Merrell's designs are notably broader than other brands even those designated as wide. Dick's is one of the few places with remaining inventory that I found. May 25, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5áby Good all around boot I've had a pair of these boots for about 5 years now. The tread is hardly worn out. I use these boots for hiking and fishing with some moderate hiking. I've been in mud, rain, snow and they have never leaked. I wear them to work every day. At this time the leather is starting to break down at the crease near the toe and they do let a little water in. I would highly recommend these boots and i'm buying another pair because they stood up to anything I threw at them. April 15, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5áby excellent very good shoes and very comfortable quality is the maximum August 28, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5áby Merrell's Phaser Peak Hiking Boots I am very pleased with his hiking boot. From the start, it fits like a glove and is very comfortable. Excellent support on feet and ankles and has a cushiony bottom. I would definitely recommend these hiking boots to anyone that is interested in getting a more durable and heavy-duty boot. Rated 5 out of 5áby Awesome Boots!!! TOUGH, as in, almost indestructible,- so far!- through creeks, up trails, rough talus terrain, nearly unscathed!! I only buy Merrill boots, for these reasons. July 30, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5áby Merrell Comes Thru again Just like all the other Merrell I've purchased, great fit and look July 24, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5áby Best Boots ever..... I bought these boots for my husband and he loves them.......he said they were the most comfortable boots he had ever owned. January 4, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5áby Good but not for me I bought this shoe thinking it would hold up better than the Merrell Moab ventilator. My ventilators were wearing out about every 6 months. I thought they would be just as comfortable as them just made with leather so they might last longer. I usuall buy an 8 1/2 wide, so I bought a 9 thinking it would work out since it wasn't wide. They fit fine but, They just werent as comfortable as the others for the price increase of $60. I was expecting more from Merrell considering they make such a great shoe. I currently own 3 different pairs, pretty good brand loyalty just this style wasn't for me. A good leather work boot in a wide with would be awesome if Merrell would make it. December 19, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5áby Hit the Trail No break-in needed. I find I need to buy a size larger than I normally wear with Merrell. Bought size 15 where I normally take a 14. First time out of the box 8 miles with medium weight socks... Solid, comfortable, stable, no blisters... Very satisfied... May 6, 2012
