Rated 5 out of 5áby great fit and finish these merrell moabs fit like a glove right out of the box - super light but just rigid enough for stability and support - recommend buying a half size larger if you use thick sock. we hike into alpine lakes in colorado for flyfishing and these hold up great -and can handle the creek crossings and the brutal downhills - highly recommended. Rated 4 out of 5áby comfortable hiking boot I hiked the local state park a couple times before going west to Durango, CO and Grand Canyon for real hiking. It was very comfortable from the start and only had a small rub on big toe after 4 days of hiking, September 25, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5áby Nice comfortable lightweight hiker Have had many types of hiking boots to include my last pair Asolo's leather which even after years remained stiff. The Moab was instantly comfortable. I wore them all weekend at a BSA Camporee where we had to walk miles. The boots are light and easy on/off. I have yet to try them in wet conditions, but with the Gortex material and Vibram sole, I expect great things. - Dave Manley April 26, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5áby A great all around boot. I work outside and walk 5-10 miles daily. I work in all kinds of terrain imaginable, snow, rain, dirt etc. This shoe has held up trough all of it. The only thing I would want in this shoe is to make the sole 4mm thick and flexible. I'm into minimalist shoes. The Goretex has been the most impressive thing about this shoe. The only time my feet ever got wet was in snow or water above the ankle. Great boot! March 1, 2011

Rated 2 out of 5áby Don't waste your time were waterproof at first then i ended up caught it a rainstorm they got wet inside, since then they leak like a sive November 21, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5áby Love this boot I am 295 lbs and work on my feet all day so I need a comfortable boot. I work outdoors in all kinds of conditions. These boots are like wearing sneakers. They're a little warm in the summer, so this summer I'm buying the shoe version. They have great traction and are pretty warm in the snow. My only complaint is after a year and a half the treads are worn flat. I know it seems like a long time but my last two pairs of work boots were Timberland steel toes and each pair the treads were fine after 3 years. The uppers were what was shot on them. These boots look great after a year and a half. The uppers are still in excellent condition. It's just the tread is gone. I will have to buy a new pair for next winter. Other than my weight, I'm not hard on shoes. I inspect houses in the city so I'm walking in alleys and on sidewalks mostly. I do some work in the country, so I have to walk in deep snow and mud from time to time. I'm in the north east. I would highly reccomend these for someone who does a lot of walking and steps in all kinds of muck. March 18, 2010
Rated 2 out of 5áby Walk in the park, yes... Field use, No Pros - This is a great outdoor boot. Good water resistance, stability, traction. Size was good and it felt great from day 1. Cons - I am a forester and was looking for a good summer boot. This is not it. Purchased in late June 2009. Officially blown out this the second week of December. Sole separated on left boot. Hole at the big toe spot, faux leather/fabric blowout at the boot hinge. 6 months, about 30 days total in the field = not tough enough. Good boot if your are going to stay on the grass and not go far! December 16, 2009
