Brooks Men's Transcend Running Shoe 5 5 3 3
Awesome shoes! I have tried a number of different brands such as Asics, Adidas, Hoka, Altra and Pearl and for me non compares to the Brooks Transcend. I feel Brooks has just the right amount of cushioning and support. It is also well priced at $100 at Dick's. November 8, 2014
Great cushioning fits well I was pretty happy with these after my first jog in them. No heel pain. Good for walking or jogging. A bit heavy and they have the appearance of running on skis. Probably have put about 10-15 miles on them and my lower legs don't hurt as I have seen in other shoes. They fit really well and I haven't noticed any rubbing on a particular part of my feet. They were on sale so I think the price was very much worth it. In my opinion they look good too. Black/lime. November 1, 2014
Worth it! New to running (about 5 years off) and every time I went out, I would start feeling terrible foot pain in my forefoot. Realizing I needed to get a stability shoe, I looked at this, the New Balance 990 and 1260 v3. Drove to Dick's where I tried on the New Balance shoes. I put them on, ran around the store, jumped, did lunges, all while thinking the shoes felt great and proud that they were made in America (what is more American than doing lunges in a sporting goods store?). I was pretty set on buying new balance and as I past the Brooks, decided to try them on. The moment I put them on my feet, I walked back to the New Balance area and slid the boxes very discreetly back into place. No need to jump, or lunge, or run, or do anything. The Transcend shoe felt amazing the moment I put it on. So far no complaints at all. I have only ran 15 miles in them but to actually have to stop running due to my fitness rather than pain in my feet is something I was hoping to get out of this purchase. Well worth the money.
