Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 37 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great value for the price. Easy to setup. More setting than others I have tried. Once it's active, you won't know it's there. Like mine so much I just ordered 2 more. September 17, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Easy to use I really like the ease of use with this camera. the quality is good and for the price it can't be beat. September 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Primos TRUTH Cam Supercharged Blackout Trail Battery life is great. Good pictures. Six months on batteries and still @ 80%. September 16, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by NICE PICS, DAY AND NIGHT I have been using this camera for about 2 months. Daytime pics are very clear. The shutter speed is sufficient: very few pics of only partial bodies on deer and turkey. Some pics are blurry due to animal movement (running deer). Photos of animals walking/running at a slow speed are clear. Still photos are clear and crisp. Night-time IR is also sufficient: pictures are clear. No complaints. It's been through several heavy rainstorms with no indication of any moisture inside the unit. Battery life is excellent. After approx 1000 photos, the camera is still showing 85% battery life. If you're looking for a low-priced camera that takes decent photos, but not looking to win any photography awards, this is your camera. Good camera for the money. September 16, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Trail cam Product works to expectations, easy to use, battery life better than anticipated (even without extra batteries) very good pics and video, trigger speed is a little slow, don't know how it will last (seen a lot of cameras die their first year, hope that doesn't happen with this one) September 15, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Truth cam blackout Have been using 2 new cameras for 4 weeks, like the additional battery capacity. One camera only takes pictures, even when set to video mode. Photos are clear during daylight hours and after dark, dusk and sun up photos are whitewashed. 2nd camera video is working great, but have noticed water inside camera and battery compartments after rain. I am concerned lack of seal will cause issues to problems. Time will tell September 12, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not to Great I set this up for surveillance in the back of my property due to theft activity in my neighborhood. The Bad things that stand out the most is that it's hard to position due to the battery pack and with that attached the strap is the only option to mount the camera, without the pack one can use the 1/4"x20 standard screw mount and fashion a bracket, in my case I don't have to worry about the battery pack because it stopped working, the camera starts up fine with the 8 inboard batteries but plug the pack in, nothing works. It seams to be a battery Hog, I get about 12 days out of the 8 batteries or about 40-50 shots 8-10 being night shots, the gauge is down to 10%. The photo Quality is very good, the IR at night is real good out to 12-15 ft with nothing blown out even at close range. ( a cat at 3ft.) At next years SHOT SHOW I'll take the time to look at something different, I have feeling this camera isn't going to last very long. September 11, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by The one I received was bad. It would not remember the date and time. Also would only take pictures when you started it up. Once it went in to sleep mode it would not wake back up and the anymore pictures. I left it out for a week and it only took 2 picture of me walking away when i set it up. I more in front of the cam atleast a fue times a day and no pictures. I have replaced if now with another one and it seams to be ok. I hope this one works good because I got 3 of my friends to buy one also. Because of the reviews seen on the intrenet. I have 8 trail cams now 3 differnt types. Have been using trail cams for atleast 9 years. Hopefully this was just a bad one. It happens!!!! September 11, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by this product is not all that its made out to be. The battery pack keeps falling off from the camera. When i read about this product before buying, one of the reasons i went with this camera was because the battery life supposed to last up to a year what they dont tell you is that is only true when camera is on the lowest setting possible which resulted in no pics. I know theres bear, deer, and turkey as well as other wildlife that reguraly visit my game plot since i can see it from my back porch! So i was very dissapointed when i had not 1 pic on my camera. Rated 4 out of 5 by Started out iffy... Bought the TRUTH cam because I had an older one that was stolen. The new one looked great out of the box however once I mounted it, I got zero pics in the field over a month. Brought it home and did some testing. The camera was turning itself off instead of entering "stand-by" mode. Called Primos (Bubba) and they gave me some troubleshooting tips. However, I simply brought the cam back to Dick's and exchanged it (7 weeks after purchase with no receipt or packaging) no questions asked. New camera works flawlessly. Good job Dick's.
