Rated 2 out of 5 by not to long of range range is not as far as they say maybe 40 - 50 feet , most pics are just a glare camera was directed away from sun. not to pleased with it for the money it cost August 23, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by awesome camera love this camera - takes great pics night and day - it's easy on batteries and has a great price point. Lots of bang for your buck$! August 17, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Not a bad camera I have many different cameras and think this one is decent so far. I use video instead of pictures and during the day they are very clear. Videos at night are very clear as well, however, the bottom section is fuzzy. It's bearable because it's only the bottom maybe 1/6 of the video but it is annoying. I think if I play with the settings I can probably fix it. Setup is a lot more difficult then all my other cameras in the sense that you can't just pull it out, set it up, and go. If you are too lazy to read the instructions then don't buy the camera. I read the manual once but found it to be easy once I started going through step by step while using the camera. It's very easy to use after you get the half of it. My biggest complaint is everything involved in hanging the camera. I don't like the back side of the camera and I hate the strap. Even after I tighten it as tight as I can, it's still not solid. For example when I just checked it yesterday I came to find it facing the ground right below the tree because a raccoon climbed on it. My other cameras have 2 straps or just one very solid strap that I've had raccoon and squirrels climb on and they never budge. I did not get the mount yet but I'm hoping that helps. Overall I think it's a pretty good camera so far and I would recommend it. August 16, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by The product needs fogging protection! Camera takes nice pictures, but it fogs up at night, camera card is extremely hard to remove access is too small. I also own Cuddeback Ambush for several years picture quality isnt as good but it has never fogged up on me. Im thinking about returning this Cuddeback long range camera because of the fogging. i did look up this camera and it says its normal to fog up? November 29, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not for serious hunters Hey people I manage an 1100 acre hunting ranch located in south Texas. I do not recreationally use game cameras. They are a tool that I heavily rely on. I have 11-15 at a time depending on if the cameras are working or not. For 8 years I have been using Cuddeback products. We began with the capture. Awesome camera. The best I've ever used. They would occasionally have issues that caused the camera to need repair but awesome durability over all and amazing picture. Unfortunatily for some reason this camera was discontinued and replaced with a far inferior product. I used the replace with new and purchased new cameras though this program. Great program if the cameras which I were purchasing were worth the plastic they are made out of. The attack line was a poorer picture and durability and reliability went substantially down hill but still a decent camera with exception I had a very difficult time getting more than one years worth of use from a camera. That leads us to the new c line operation is simple as are all of the Cuddeback lines. Battery life is good. I can get around one month out of one set and I take a lot of pictures( I can get 1000+pics a week on protein set at 1min delay). I have had one of these cameras which are around 3 months old throw an error code 0:00 which according to online was an internal malfunction and needs to be returned for repair. The camera sat for about 2 weeks turned off and all of the sudden began to work again. How long, thats anyone's guess. The biggest issue I am having is at the peak time for pictures. Just at sunrise and sunset the cameras have a defect in that the pictures are blowing out and solid white. The technician I spoke with at Cuddeback said they have had several calls about this and it's due to the light conditions. They made it sound as if the cameras thinks it's dark enough to flash but it is light enough not to and as a result for about 10 min of the peak activity time you get 5-10 solid white pictures. What good is a scouting camera if at the am and pm peak activity times the camera is incapable of taking a useable picture. I have since November of 2007 purchased/ used I would guess 40-50 different Cuddeback cameras and have been able to get several other ranches to use their products as well. I am now done with Cuddeback. I am tired of having to replace 1/2 of my cameras yearly and by the time hunting season is over the other 1/2 not operating. In tired of poorer and poorer quality pictures every time a new camera comes out. If you are a recreational hunter and just need a camera and don't mind replacing it yearly Cuddeback is fine. If you rely on your cameras to manage a property don't waste your time or money. November 5, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Easy to Use Great product with easy to use features. Takes pictures from longer ranges so you don't have to put so close to a trail or feeder and spoke game. Some of the night images are a little blurred but most are great. October 21, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by the product takes great pictures The camera takes great pictures. The camera is easy to program. I like the bottom door access for easy changing of the memory chip. I would buy another one for sure. October 16, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by works well so far, so good. excellent night photos. clear day shots. nothing really to complain about, except.. maybe... mounting system could be a bit sturdier, but a cordless drill and a couple of drywall screws will fix it solid to tree. October 15, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Cam So far this camera has taken excellent day and night photos. I am very impressed with the distance of the nighttime IR. Picks up movement well, and hasn't given any trouble whatsoever. Excellent cam so far, look forward to using this camera and comparing it to another brand trail cam I have had since last year.
