Rated 5 out of 5áby Mayberry fan Great shoe My husband is hard on shoes. He can wear out a pair in no time. He has gotten these before for work and these have outlasted any shoe he has ever had....4 years. He has just purchased his second pair. He likes adjusting the lace-up to fit to the exact tightness the first time he wears them. Then just use the side zip to slip on and off. Each wear will be the exact fit. Great value for the money! Rated 4 out of 5áby Eaglestrike Not quite true to size Nice boots but not quite true to size. A little hard to put on even with the side zip. October 2, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5áby Ainglada Best pair of boots This boots are the must comfortable pair that I have worn, I do construction and I'm on my feet all day , the zipper feature on the side are a great way to remove them with ease , but you won't even have to break them in or may even forget to remove them October 17, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5áby NATE MONEY WELL SPENT I work in a part of the security industry that puts a lot of miles on their boots. Being a former Marine I am partial to the BATES brand. I have never had a bad pair of BATES and these are no exception. So light weight I forget sometimes I am wearing them, breathable so my feet stay dry and grippy so I never lose traction. Rated 4 out of 5áby just a lousy cop great boot I use the boots everyday for work. They are an extremely comfortable boot and break in fast. The side zipper is very convenient. The only issue I have with them is that they have very little padding or cushion to the insert. I have to buy gel inserts to make them better for long periods of standing. October 17, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5áby Harley2011 Great Product Boot is great for riding on hot days and you don't want to wear a heavy boot, very comfortable. Was disappointed that one of the shoe strings end protection came off. September 3, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5áby Johnny rock Bates you guys are getting cheap made Bates seem to be useing cheaper materal now, the boots dont flex as much, and as a duty boot walking in these seem to make feet tied quicker. Come on bates step it up. January 22, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5áby Local firefighter Buying the name I am a firefighter so I'm in these boots close to 24 hours straight. The quality of bates has gone downhill and unfortunately these boots have shown it. In less than a year they started to really fall apart and loose there rigidity. The soles wore away extremely quickly and the leather stretched to an usable amount to the point where two toes were off the side. I worked construction before this so I know what it means to wear out boots and not just have them fall apart. February 4, 2012
