Work for a utility company, I'm outside and on my feet most of the day. These boots are very comfortable, keep my feet dry and last all year.

I have been wearing this boot for years and am satisfied enough to keep coming back to it. The GORE-TEX feature works way better than just the regular waterproof construction. I do not have to re-waterproof the boot at all and my feet still stay dry. The GORE-TEX does weaken over time, but my foot stays dry even while cleaning up soaking wet leaves on rainy days. More importantly, I can count on these boots when I am doing sprinkler work, which often results in boots that stay wet all day long - on the outside. The inside stays dry and is not insulated either, so I can wear these boots all summer long without my feet getting too hot. I only have two complaints about this boot, the price and the footbed. For the price, I would expect the boot to last longer than a year, but I find myself purchasing a new pair year after year. I believe I am on my fourth pair now, in as many years. Secondly, after about 6 months or so, the footbed really starts to deteriorate...little fibers start to stick out and it feels like there are little pieces of something in your boot that you just can't get out. I've learned to deal with this annoyance, since I am otherwise satisfied with the boot.
