Irish Setter Men's Grizzly Tracker 1000g Field Boot 4.7 5 9 9
Never Going Back.... To a cheap boot, these are awesome! I ponied up and got these boots as a gift to myself...Merry Christmas indeed! One regular pair of socks and my feet never got cold sitting in the stand all day. Walking in and out is no problem either as they are very comfortable, my feet no longer ache when I get home. You really do get what you pay for. January 4, 2013
Good quality boot.. This is a really good boot but ended up returning them. I hunted with them one day in 21 degree temps and my feet were very cold so they won't work for me. So would suggest if you buy these to make sure were you are temps don't drop more than 30 or so. Overall it was comfortable and if temps were warmer here in NY I would have kept them. Easy breakin Very comfortable and light weight. Used them before bear season started during small game which was still alittle warm so couldnt tell if they would be warm but put them thru a serious walk in mud, fields, hard brush a were solid all day. No blisters, or uncomfortable spots in boots and felt broken in already. Now deer season in Tioga County was another story. I was so used to wearing two pair of socks that my feet were cold from not be able to breath. Changed that real quick the next day............one pair of wool socks at 20 degrees and was fine for the day. laces didnt have to be wrapped twice around the boot either....laced them right up to the top, had room for a double knot....never came untied. I made a good investment this time. December 4, 2012
Seem to be a good boot Only used once so far, but kept my feet warm on a 15 degree morning. Also, comes in wide sizes. A HUGE plus. November 25, 2012
These boots have it all! The Grizzly Tracker 1000 by Irish Setter is as advertised, and that means warm, dry, light weight, comfortable, and with good traction. Don't worry about any break-in period with these boots, and don't baby them. This is the third "generation" of Irish Setter hunting boots that my sons and I have purchased, and I still wear the oldest ones just to rotate them. The only thing I would plan on is replacing is the innersole at some point, especially if you put the miles on them that my sons and I do in the hills and swamps of Penn's Woods. I am a serious hiker as well as a hunter, so I do have a prejudice regarding quality innersoles. Other than that these can't be beat if your care for your feet! November 13, 2012
The Grizzly Tracker has it all! I hunt with these boots from October to February in northeast PA. I hunt hard in rough terrain including steep ridges and swamps. My boots get put through the ringer on rocks and in the wet and cold, and I am usually carrying 30-40 lbs. of gear as well. These boots are a gift to my feet. One pair of wool socks is all I ever wear, and regardless of whether I am sitting, still hunting, snow shoeing, hiking in and out, crossing creeks or in deep snow, my feet are warm and dry. My only criticism is that the lacing eyelets seem to have sharp edges that eventually wear and cut the laces. I worked on them myself with a small file, and always carry extra laces, so I consider this a minor irritant in an otherwise outstanding package. October 20, 2012
Avid hunter/hiker I HIGHLY recommend these boots. After weeks of hunting and hiking through the woods. My feet stayed warm, dry and comfortable. I had to walk through creeks where the water was up to my ankle and not a drop got inside. I sat in 20 degree (F) weather with 2 pairs of socks and my feet were warm. Also, another thing I was impressed with, the break-in time. After wearing these for one day it felt like the were broke in as much as any other boot I owned. Very happy with them and I think they found a lifetime fan. Stay warm out there! Joe from PA December 16, 2011
Now this is a man's boot Hunting, working, etc. Flexible, light weight, tough, durable, great traction, amazing. Nothing wrong with them. December 16, 2011
Great Hunting Boot! I owned another Irish setter hunting boot, but decided to add to my collection. These boots are SOOOO comfortable! I hike up 1.5 miles of rock, mud, snow, and this boot is great. 100% waterproof, with a pair of wool socks, feet stay warm and toasty. December 5, 2011
