Field & Stream Scout Fanny Pack 2.9 5 7 7
Not good for heavy loads as claimed I bought this product last October and was initally impressed with it's features and claimed ability to carry a substancial amount of gear. I used this Pac through out the 2012 hunting season and overall was pleased with it. However..., the common connecting piece between the shoulder straps and the straps that attach to the Pac and actually support the weight of the load was very poorly made. It is a cloth material and tore easily under the weight of what was in the Pac (approx 15 Lbs). It's a shame they didn't put more thought into this one vital piece. It's not worth the money to invest in something like this if you expect it to last. January 5, 2013
you get what you pay for This pack was exactley what I was looking for. Shoulder straps, great size, plenty of compartments. Howvever, once in the field I began to notice that the round snap buckles from the shoulder straps to the pack squeaked when I walked. The more I tried to fix it the more they squeaked. Not really a design flaw, more of a new type buckle that is not made for this. December 25, 2012
Nice fanny pack This product has worked very well. Stores day use hunting equipment nicely in the individual compartments. Quiet in the field OK construction. Breast strap will probably not last but it can be easily replaced with a little ingenuity. The best value for what is available. October 30, 2012
Poor Design I liked the size of the pack as far as storage. However with the way the zippers pulled down so far my hunting stuff would fall out. Should have the zipper stop part way down. Also should have more elastic compartments to hold items in place October 30, 2012
easy to use and get on/off very confortable October 20, 2012
dissappointing This pack still put too much pressure on shoulder and neck muscles. The second time I used it, I tried to tighten the belt and the belt buckle broke. November 20, 2010
field and stream field scout fanny pack this fanny pack is very good. the only thing lacking is external straps that could hold a jacket or sweatshirt as the weather turned- you could carry an extra later or shed a layer. If a retrofit were offered i wouild add it to my existing pack kenny d October 18, 2010
