Rated 1 out of 5áby Not the Sorels we knew and loved I bought a pair to replace my Sorel Pack boots that I got 20+ years ago. Also bought a pair for my son. Quality has taken a steep nosedive since Columbia bought Sorel. 2 months after my son starter wearing these, he complained of having cold feet and that snow got into his boots. I assumed it was because he hadn't laced them tightly. The next spring after wearing for about 3 months he complained of water getting in. I looked at his boot and there were cracks in the rubber that gaped when he walked. I looked at my boots and cracks were forming as well. These are not the quality boot that used to be called Sorel. Rated 1 out of 5áby Not a good boot. There is no way the Sorel Caribou winter boot will remain waterproof for more than a year. The rubber will soon crack and they'll be useless after one season. I've gone through three pairs over the last 10 years or so. At first I thought it was a fluke but they're all made from the same inferior rubber. Everyone I know who has bought them says the same thing. You'll get one season out of them. That's it. Live and learn. The lack of negative reviews must mean they all get deleted. This is my second try. Lets see if this one gets through. What's the point of having a five star rating system if you can't give anything a poor rating? February 4, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5áby Poor quality Purchased boots two years ago . This winter they have done nothing but crack apart. The quality of the product has declined. I had my old boots for almost twenty years. I am very dissatisfied with this boot March 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5áby Totally Awesome Winter Boot These are the most awesome winter boot I have ever worn,,, They do need to be snow proofed with an appropriate snow and moisture seal, but my feet have never been warmer or more comfortable, I am the proud owner of two pairs of them,,, The workmanship and quality cannot be beat,,, I am out in the extreme cold all day with them... Rated 5 out of 5áby Great Boots These are great boots, fit just right. Glad I bought them. January 18, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5áby Always a 10! Can't ever go wrong with these Sorels. Yes, Columbia did change the sole and discontinued the true fleece trim, but the liners are otherwise the same and the boot is 90% the same tried and true construction. Best boot of this style one could ever purchase. January 15, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5áby The warmest while still being comfortable!! I have owned a pair since I was in my later teens! I am 55 now and still have a pair! I gave my son a pair about a year ago and he loves them as well! He wears his all of the time, I mainly wore mine for hunting! I would recommend these to all that are looking for a comfortable and warm and dry boot! January 5, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5áby Great Great comfortably and warm I got in time for one of the worst winters in years I love them March 19, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5áby I don't need new boots!!! 15 years and counting, the warmest, most durable snow boots ever. Granted, I only wear them when the snow is over 6" deep and I'm in the field, woods or on the ice. Probably less than 60 days/ year. But that's the only time I need them! 130/15= <$10/year.Worth twice the price, only if you like warm feet. February 13, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5áby Great boots I purchased these as a birthday gift for my son. He wore them the very next day and he loved them!! They fit true to size and although the temperature that day wasn't extremely cold, like it sometimes gets here in Minnesota, it was still cold out and he said his feet were toasty warm for the 4 hours he was outside. I feel very confident that when he's outside in our very cold weather, his feet will stay nice and warm. I can't comment on how well they'll hold up, but they appear to be very well constructed and hopefully he'll get many years of use out of these boots. I bought him a pair of SOREL boots (I think they were Caribou's) 20 years ago and these new ones are replacing those. With that kind of track record, I didn't hesitate buying another pair.
