This product has great features! I recently purchased these boots for work, and I absolutely love them!! I have been buying about 1 pair of winter boots every year now for the last 10 years for work, and I usually get 2-3 months out of them before they start to leak water, soles rip out or wear out, etc.... These are by far the most comfortable and warm boots I have ever purchased! I will never buy a different brand or model of boot ever again!! I have finally found a boot that I love!! December 4, 2014
Feet get cold. Bought this product because of the reviews and reputation sorel had. Very comfortable when tried them on. Worn them first day within one hour feet were very cold on the bottoms, temp was 28 deg. Had to get out of tree stand n walk around. Second day sat in blind after about two hours feet were very cold again on the bottoms. Both times wearing heavy Marino wool socks. These boots are advertised for -40deg F. They did not field test these in real hunting conditions I did. After taking the insert out I see There is no insulation under the insert. Insert is just foam. Bad design. Says 400 gram insulation ,on sides. Third time out hunting wore my ranger boots and Marino wool socks, just to make sure it wasn't me or my socks. 27deg F. I Sat 3:30minutes. Till a buck came in range. Then sat from 1:00 until dark 4:30. Feet stayed very warm n dry. If you buy the sorrels don't plan on sitting around. You need to be moving or driving in your car with the heater on. November 26, 2014
Great boot Perfect for winter in Colorado. Very durable. Great for Colorado November 3, 2014
Not worth the cost I bought these boots because of the reviews and was highly disappointed. Within two months they ripped out at the seams. I work outside doing construction and could have just as easily bought $50 boots if this was going to be the result. May 1, 2014
Solid winter boot What would you expect from Sorel? These are very comfortable, solid winter boots. With this winter particularly harsh in the Northeast, I've had to use stronger boots as my Columbia Bugaboots split right at the seams (after two years of use). I couldn't use my Sorel Caribous for commuting to work so I picked up a pair of these based on my success with Sorel's in the past. These are very comfortable and highly durable. They are not light by any means but they are great at traversing the snow and ice. The tread is deep so that you can deal with just about any winter situation and the ankle support is great. They do not dig into your angles or heels like the Caribou does. They are built a little higher in the sole than your average winter boot but they are quite comfortable and fit snug (but you don't need to size up as you would for Northface boots). Many years ago this was the only boot i would ever buy, would not buy any more Purchased this product for ice fishing. Boots are rated for 40 below wore them one day in 20 degree temp and feet were cold within 1 hour on the ice. These boots are very uncomfortable to walk in as well. Returned boots next day for refund. February 12, 2014
So far so good. Only been wearing them a week but they are warm and my feet have been dry. They are a little heavy, but are pretty comfortable. So far I love them, but time will tell if they hold up ,and stay waterproof. January 25, 2014
comfortable pro and cons its well made, very warm con for me is the eye loops, hard to tie at a tight fit because of that. the latch at the heal is great but hard to attach on the holder i like the toughn better than the no tougn, that this has. for what it cost great price for warm in deep and cold snow January 21, 2014
great boot Bought then on 'clearance' but found out on the stores site I payed full price. Still a great boot and would have bought them any way. January 19, 2014
You can generally always count on Sorel quality - again This is my second pair of Sorel winter boots. My first ones were purchased way back in about 1991 and still wearing them. Yeah, needed to replace the liners a few times, and patch a leak at the toe with some PlastiDip. But still going strong. These appear more durable and the rubber covers more of the boot. The cuff is a little stiff at the top compared to the faux fur around the top of the liner on my old ones, but these new ones feel more robust. I've only had a chance to wear them a few hours today, for the first time, as we had some snow overnight to shovel. But so far, very warm and dry. Just a bit stiff yet. January 8, 2014
