Rated 3 out of 5áby Too soon to tell - but these boots are life savers as we approach 100" of snow All evidence of a five star boot; but I haven't used them or real weather tests. My other boots failed peak winter -- al the local venues ere sold-out -- so for one our fiercest winters I was bootless until Dick's online service saved the day. Thank you Dick's for having a pair available for me to buy . I look forward to seeing this pair serve me for more winters than the pair of boots that never performed as well as these have to date. I can already tell these are warmer and have a nifty gator function that will may be great in full winter mode next year. March 9, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5áby Great Purchase ! Love every aspect of the boot! Too bad the all black pair was sold out. February 28, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5áby Cracked Open Disappointed that the rubberized ridge above sole cracked wide open at the start of the third season. Only wear them for hunting and snow removal so the soles still look new after three years and to have the material fail so completely was very disappointing. Warranty is only one year on these. Rated 1 out of 5áby Poor Unfortunately this boot is so heavy and does not breath that your feet sweat so much causing them to be always cold. Very disappointed as these were purchased to replace a pair that were 15 years old. In addition the shoe laces are already ripping after only 2 months February 15, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5áby Recieved wrong color, but worked out! I had ordered these in the only available color (brown) and originally planned to return these to get the Bark color elsewhere, but somehow I got sent the bark color instead! They're pretty comfortable and true to size. I'm a 9.5, reg width, and they fit comfortably with hiking socks on. Have not officially field tested them in deep snow or low temps, but I hope they last a long time, given their poor quality complaints. January 31, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5áby This product has great features! I recently purchased these boots for work, and I absolutely love them!! I have been buying about 1 pair of winter boots every year now for the last 10 years for work, and I usually get 2-3 months out of them before they start to leak water, soles rip out or wear out, etc.... These are by far the most comfortable and warm boots I have ever purchased! I will never buy a different brand or model of boot ever again!! I have finally found a boot that I love!! December 4, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5áby Feet get cold. Bought this product because of the reviews and reputation sorel had. Very comfortable when tried them on. Worn them first day within one hour feet were very cold on the bottoms, temp was 28 deg. Had to get out of tree stand n walk around. Second day sat in blind after about two hours feet were very cold again on the bottoms. Both times wearing heavy Marino wool socks. These boots are advertised for -40deg F. They did not field test these in real hunting conditions I did. After taking the insert out I see There is no insulation under the insert. Insert is just foam. Bad design. Says 400 gram insulation ,on sides. Third time out hunting wore my ranger boots and Marino wool socks, just to make sure it wasn't me or my socks. 27deg F. I Sat 3:30minutes. Till a buck came in range. Then sat from 1:00 until dark 4:30. Feet stayed very warm n dry. If you buy the sorrels don't plan on sitting around. You need to be moving or driving in your car with the heater on. November 26, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5áby Great boot Perfect for winter in Colorado. Very durable. Great for Colorado November 3, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5áby Not worth the cost I bought these boots because of the reviews and was highly disappointed. Within two months they ripped out at the seams. I work outside doing construction and could have just as easily bought $50 boots if this was going to be the result. May 1, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5áby Solid winter boot What would you expect from Sorel? These are very comfortable, solid winter boots. With this winter particularly harsh in the Northeast, I've had to use stronger boots as my Columbia Bugaboots split right at the seams (after two years of use). I couldn't use my Sorel Caribous for commuting to work so I picked up a pair of these based on my success with Sorel's in the past. These are very comfortable and highly durable. They are not light by any means but they are great at traversing the snow and ice. The tread is deep so that you can deal with just about any winter situation and the ankle support is great. They do not dig into your angles or heels like the Caribou does. They are built a little higher in the sole than your average winter boot but they are quite comfortable and fit snug (but you don't need to size up as you would for Northface boots).
