The Wolverine® Prairie Trekker insulated boot features a full-grain leather upper with tough 1000-denier Cordura nylon and a removable full-cushion insole. The 1000 gram Thinsulate™ Ultra Insulation adds warmth, while the breathable GORE-TEX® waterproof membrane lining keeps feet dry. A lightweight nylon shank fights fatigue, and the permanent direct-attach molding seals out water.

good boots / good value
these boots keeps feet dry and warm in cold weather and good in warm weather as well, plus their comfortable when broken in.

Great Boot
Only been in these for two work weeks but I am happy. I'm in Law Enforcement in cold Wisconsin and these keep my feet warm and dry. I bought the full leather pair for $119.00. I shopped the price and reviews and took the chance. My first pair of Wolverine boots and I am satisfied.

Reliable Favorite
I bought these boots for my husband. I think we're on his tenth pair by now . These have become a regular staple in his wardrobe. He wears them year-round and rotates his older pairs for the dirty jobs while wearing the new pair for work every day. Needless to say these boots are very durable and comfortable. The leather is a dark rich color that is nice enough to wear to work, but the quality is also fantastic so his feet are well-supported, warm, and dry, no matter the conditions!

Good work boots
My grandson loves these boots. He works in construction and wears them everyday. I buy two pairs in November, one for Christmas and one for his b-day on July. These boots are hard to find in summer.

Best boot ever!
These style boots have been protecting my feet for the last five years with incredible comfort! My Praire Trekker boots have out lasted any other brands that I've worn. Many years ago I broke an ankle and these boots are terrific at holding my foot safely without pain! Highly recommended! An extra set of laces or more durable laces would be helpful!

Very Comfortable
Used the boots for extreme hiking in the mountains in 10 degree weather and my feet never got cold, wet or sore. They are a little stiff to begin with but once broken in they're great. Feels a little big but works great with a pair of thick socks.

Great overall hunting boots
I bought a pair of these boots in 2006 and they are still going strong. I only use them during deer hunting season and have to say that in 25+ years of hunting these are by far the most comfortable, durable, warmest boots I've owned. As a bonus the Gortex will surely keep your feet dry. Well worth the money!!!

Owned 12-15 pairs in almost10 yrs
I use them for work yr round(heavy equip operator/construction).I am not kind to them,neither is the ground I work on.They usually start taking on water after 2-3 months. Some pairs last longer than others.I usually have 3 pairs on hand,new in the box,somewhat worn,and a trashed pair I wear around the house. :)Still a great all around boot.I will buy more.Thanx Wolverine!
