Rated 5 out of 5 by I think the headling is spot on. The night I went into Dick's Sporting Goods the sales person showed me the yaktrax and another pair that he perfered because he ice fishes. I was unsure about the yaktrax but I took them because I wasn't going to be walking on lakes, I didn't think I needed any spikes. The sales person didn't even really know much about the yaktrax. The first night I wore them I was truly impressed. Normally, as I walk my dog with snow or ice on the sidewalks I walk with my body and legs stright, tense, and my feet flat to keep from slipping on the black ice under the snow. I was really impressed from that first night I put them on. I walked with a normal step, didn't slip, and felt very comfortable walking. I couldn't understand why there hadn't been any advirtising as far as I knew about them. I believe if more people knew about them more people would have them. They are also pretty easy to slip on and off. I marked excellent for quality even thought I haven't worn them much. I'm interested to see how long they will last. The quality has been excellent thus far. February 20, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by I love this product This is an inexpensive solution to slippery surfaces that totally works. I have had one for years and just got another to give to my kid going to college. Now I don't have to worry about him taking a spill. November 21, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sizing The sizing is correct but....size up if you are putting them on large snow boots. For example, I am a woman size 9. I would wear a S, I bought Small for my merrel's and regular casual shoes. For my north face boot I ordered a M, I wear the Medium the most when I am wearing my size 9 North face boots for shoveling and snowblowing. January 22, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by great for snow I have had several significant fractures and snow terrifies me. This purchase is my third pair of Yak Trax because I want one in my car, one in my house and one at my job. This way I will never be caught slipping on snow again. April 15, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Big Fan These are absolutely great. Just bought my second pair! Won't go through a winter without them. Provides sure footing when shoveling, snow blowing or simply walking the dog. I would also recommend these for senior citizens to prevent winter falls on ice or snow. They're very cool too! Pair them with a North Face jacket, Oakley sunglasses and u r looking fine! February 2, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Safety in ice/snow I was so impressed by this product that I recommended it to many coworkers. I even sent a glowing letter to the company. The bad part, one pair broke on the third day... I assume I did something wrong... I use the same shoes at the gym, as I do on my evening walks. So, I was taking them off and putting them back on twice a day. I bought a pair for a friend the same day, and hers are still fine. I will get anther pair, the security you feel wearing these in the ice and snow is unbelievable!! January 16, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good to have in an emergency Hiked out of Grand Canyon on Bright Angel trail. the last half mile of trail was snow and ice covered. These provided good traction and were light enought to backpack. November 28, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Not bad, but go for the pro version I got these to prevent myself from slipping on the ice while snowblowing, and they work just OK. They are called "walker" for a reason- they're good for walking. Moving around a lot, muscling a heavy snowblower in tight areas resulted in them falling off a few times, so I wish I had spent the extra $10 for the "pro" version with the strap over the instep to keep them on better. Overall not a bad item for the price, but it depends on your use. February 15, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by This product works very well on ice and snow. This product is great. I do not go out without them in snow and ice, particularly when I am shoveling snow. I am older and have a tendency of falling. These are very helpful. January 7, 2015
