Worst ball ever This is the worst ball ive ever thrown. If you are about to buy this then dont because its not worth the $100. I used in the rain and it bled red all over my clothes, hands, and gear. DO NOT BUY THIS ITS THE WORST BALL EVER!!!!! May 5, 2013
This the is real NFL Game Ball Yes, this is the Authentic game ball used in the NFL. I got this ball for a birthday gift and yes it does bleed red dye just like on the NFL players with a light color jersey (mainly running backs) and yes it is a little harder than cheap composite balls, But I have owned several NFL official game balls dating back to the 1970's Pete Rozelle years. And yes this is the real game ball that grown men play with in the NFL!!!!!!!! November 25, 2012
Just a great ball! I myself love this ball, use it all the time. As a new ball it is hard as people catching it would saybut thats new leather for ya, hold its shape well, and hold air just fine even when i travel up an down mountains. Yes it will bleed red as a new ball but a quick warm water dip let it dry and adding shoe polish (brownish is what I use) and that problem goes away long with the tuff leather feel. I enjoy it but i have big strong hands and dont need the hold the laces to put a spin on the ball...the laces are smaller on this ball then any other ball I have ever seen or used if you need laces to get ur spin, power, and accury you might want to try a Wilson's TDS 1205 ball. Red Dye everywhere! NOT the real deal. Not sure why only one other review had this posted on Dicks website, but this ball bleeds red as soon as any moisture gets to it. We used this in an intramural game and everything turned red-- our hands, our clothes... everything the ball touched. This is NOT the official NFL game ball used in NFL games. best football ever!!! this is a great football when you first get it there isn't much tack but in about 2 days of using it it's great! dont let it get wet or you could ruin the leather and also dont let it touch the concrete too much either but overall a great ball i will definitely be purchasing another one soon! Great Ball, careful though... This a great ball. Best you can buy. I'm very happy with my purchase. I say careful because this ball is NOT good for signatures with normal sharpie markers. The coating on the ball makes it almost impossible for normal sharpies to leave a mark on it. If you are buying this ball for signatures either buy different ball or MAKE SURE you buy the "paint" markers made by sharpie not the permanent markers we are all used to. I made the mistake and I can barely see the sigs I got on my ball. August 13, 2012
