Product Worth Cost
The exception to this value is it does not indicate that straps are needed to hold the shin protectors in place. Not one to play soccer, I thought the socks would hold them in place -- not so.

Good Design
I bought these for my son. I like this design better than the typical ones that have stirrups at the bottom. I think the Stirrups are too think and make it hard for a kid to get his heel all the way down in the shoe. Plus they make it tough to get the shoes tight and lift the heel making it easier for the shoe to come off.
These however use a sleeve or open spandex like sock to keep in place. So there is no problem getting the shoe on or keeping it on.
Added bonus. For practice my son likes to wear low cut (golf style) socks. Because these shin guards have a thin sleeve to keep them in place he can wear the low socks and the shin guards stay on and stay in place without affecting the fit of the shoe.

Solid Cheapies
I'm in an indoor league where shin guards are required. Haven't worn guards in my last 4 yrs of soccer, so I just needed something cheap to shove in my sock. These are small, easy to insert and extremely comfortable (I can't even feel them).

Compact to fit in your pack
At VCU, sometimes I play indoor in the MAC or on the Cary St. turf field. I don't feel like carrying my shin guards with ankle protection in my sack pack because it just takes too much space. This is a good solution. If I don't have tight fitting long socks on, then the shin guards sink lower in my socks, so it might be wise to get shin guard sleeves or shin guard straps. I've never used sleeves or straps as of yet, but will since sometimes my socks alone do not secure the shin guards in place. Also, throughout my soccer life, I've usually gone for the ankle protection shin guards. These do not have ankle protection, so I get a different feel. It's less weight so sometimes I feel a little quicker and less restrictive than with shin guards with ankle protection. The different feel is good. I do not know all about soccer apparel/equipment, so find out for yourself. Hope this helps. Get your touches in today. Soccer. Live it everyday.

Shinguards Review
These are the best shin guards ever! I bought them for my u6 player, then months' later our dog chewed his shin guards. Since the shin guards were great we decided to buy two more set's of these shin guards. My son loves these shin guards. They cover my son's shin guards. They are light. I do not know why some parent's feel like the bigger the shin guards the better they protect the child's shins. These shin guards are the perfect size and are a great quality.
